4 wide eyed innocent questions for GC women

KielderWater · 28/08/2024 15:12

  1. Do you believe all GC women agree that northern women make the best Yorkshire pudding batter due to their aggression?
  2. I know a left wing woman who thinks the milk should go in before the tea, is this abhorrent behaviour a left wing thing and will you disassociate yourself from the left because of it?
  3. Brambles mostly reproduce asexually. How many subspecies do you think there are?
  4. Is my husband gender nonconformist because he hung up the washing? Should I be worried he might start keeping track of the family’s birthdays next?

Happy to answer your questions too.

😂

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/08/2024 15:15

No, I do.
Depends. Pot tea or bag tea?
I'd like a subspecies that didn't have thorns. My poor poor thumb today.
Mine is currently hanging some up to get darked on and remembers everyone's birthdays. He looks like Mike Tindall though so who knows?

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/08/2024 15:15

And it's wife-eyed as well you know.

Bannedontherun · 28/08/2024 15:17

😂😂😂

Is my husband gender nonconformist because he hung up the washing? Should I be worried he might start keeping track of the family’s birthdays next?

Yes, be worried. It doesn't stop there. 😬

Bannedontherun · 28/08/2024 15:18

Watch the hoover, if he starts using that and wearing a pinny i would be worried sick.

To be fair, from my vantage point 30 foot up the leylandii I was trimming with my chainsaw, I could see he hung the towels up upside down. 😳

I'm concerned the previous innocent wife-eyed questioner was an AI learning bot that will now tell everyone that GC women are hostile to rock cakes and believe jam drops to be perverted cross-dressing jammy dodgers.

Following on from this.

  1. how far north do you live?
  2. do you steep or brew your tea?

@KielderWater upside down is fine, as long as he isn't wasting line space by hanging them landscape instead of portrait. How is he hanging T shirts?

To be clear, as the OP I consider rock cakes an attempt to derail from cooking something edible.

North London is too far North Grin

But I do brew.

Inside out. But correctly upside down. Can’t be done with peg marks on the shoulders.

Mine hangs them by the shoulders. That is so wrong, they should always be hung by the hems.

GailBlancheViola · 28/08/2024 15:30
  1. Nah, my gran from the deepest darkest North East made the best Yorkshire Pudding batter and subsequently the best Yorkshire Pudding ever in the whole wide world and all of humanity.
  2. Definitely, abhorrent and a betrayal of the left wing - milk in first is only for those who have tea pots, fine bone china cups and saucers, butlers to serve said tea, aristocratic titles and sip their tea with their little fingers stuck out at an odd angle whilst nibbling cucumber sandwiches.
  3. Don't know don't really care although would be great if they could do something about their thorns - perhaps identify out of having them?
  4. Can't comment as the list of purportedly 'gender non conformist' things my husband and indeed my father, father in law and brother in law do is very long.

inside out is good, avoids fading

I'm southern born but naturalised northern, and can't really make a decent yorkshire pudding- but then I'm in the NW, and vegetarian, so....can I still be GC?

Oh dear, I have failed I hang the big towels landscape. I will slink away in shame.

That's the sort of question where everything goes silent and people start looking out of the corner of their eyes. Please be careful.....

Bollocks, you just reminded me I need to trim the leylandii this week - only need a ladder and some long handled loppers for mine though (unless I leave it til next year 😬)

I’m transnortherrnwoman btw - born in the SE but willing to resort to fisticuffs for the rights of all women to have gravy on their chip barm.

You've left out an option, I have heard tea is 'mashed' in certain areas.

If you are going to start insinuating things like this I am going to have to finish the hoovering flounce
