How can so many people still be in the thrall of Farage and Reform UK when harldy a day goes by without another horrifying story about Farage emerges. Now he's telling us that Andrew Tate is an important voice for men. Tate is a vile representation of the human race. who glorifies hitting and choking women. Why would any woman vote for Reform UK?

Farage said Andrew Tate was ‘important voice’ for men in podcast interview

Reform UK leader has also argued against diversity quotas and said people on benefits were ‘too stupid’ to work in appearances over past year

Aside the sex trafficking, he groomed young men via the internet and took their money. He only ever cared about himself. He used reality tv to become a bit well known and then used the message and those young men who began worshipping him as a front for his trafficking and abusing empire.

Anyone can spout the message he did.

Tate's only admirable feature (a phrase I struggle with) is that he recognised how stupid and gullible many people are to propaganda techniques (hence joining in the dramatic conspiracy theory bs) and used everyone to his advantage.

Anyway he who put a like on anything he said on Twitter or said things like "oh what he says is good though" has succumbed to the manipulations of an abusive selfish narcissist.

Stone cold truth.

WarriorN · 25/06/2024 06:21

his messages about...... not letting ppl take advantage of you

Whilst he took advantage of you Hmm

Jesus, grooming 101 from the book of JS. Hiding in plain sight but not in a shell suit.

You need to read what he actually said before believing everything printed in the guardian
get educated

Why don't you explain it to us like we're five year olds then. What did he say and what did it mean?
Btw, why no punctuation, oh "educated" one?

While offering himself up as an example? He's a pimp and an "influencer" who got to be in that significantly less than exhalted position based on shock value. That's supposed to be hard work?
He's also an alcoholic, albeit one who claims to be sober for a few years now, so he's hardly a valid example of substance abuse avoidance either. Also, it's pretty obvious to people in his sport that he has used anabolic steroids. They accused him and he lied about it in a manner that it was so over the top it clearly was not remotely true.
That creep is a hypocrite in addition to being a monstrous waste of flesh.
Do you really want young men to take his rancid advice? There are infinitely better sources.

You haven’t answered my question !
also have you watched Tate ?
many of his videos only really broadcast the messages I’ve quoted above
what evidence have you to support the steroid accusation?
careful what you accuse ppl of without anything concrete
im not an advocate but im not going to throw around baseless accusations after watching a more on 4 one sided documentary

WarriorN · 25/06/2024 06:31

Cream. He's a grifter and abuser. Stop defending him on a feminist forum.

What question? You're not making sense.

Of course I don't watch him. I don't stick pins in my eyeballs either. And...?

I didn't say I, personally, have evidence of steroid use. I said he has been accused by others in his sport, who are in a position to know.
Oh, I should be "careful?" Why? Is somebody going to do something to me?

Tell us you're an acolyte who has been sucked in by a con artist without telling us...bla bla. You get the idea.

MrsWhattery · 25/06/2024 01:04

Oh he's just taking the piss now surely. I think he's trying to see how outrageous he can be to wind people up and he doesn't actually want to be an PM.

Unfortunately loads of people will love it a la Trump and Nige will be our next PM.

Exactly what DH said: “He’s just trolling now.”

Who are you to tell me what to think?
you are part of the problem
I’m not defending him. I’m calling out ridiculous uneducated over reactions
if women are stupid enough to get involved with Tate then that’s their decision

XChrome · 25/06/2024 06:38

Cream, what did Farage really say and what did it mean? "Educate" us, Professor.

WarriorN · 25/06/2024 06:41

I’m calling out ridiculous uneducated over reactions

What's an over reaction?

if women are stupid enough to get involved with Tate then that’s their decision

You don't get grooming do you. He described exactly how he did this in his "education tools."

He's clearly got you too.

You obviously mean the "stupid" women he raped and forced into prostitution. Yeah, that was stupid of them to get raped and trafficked.

Misogynistic, sick, abusive agenda fully revealed. Congratulations. That was accomplished in record time. Too easy. What a bore.

I think Andrew Tate is a fascinating figure. I think his speaking to men, who because of the woke agenda were told they couldn’t be male in any way at all, was an important thing. But I feel some of his comments were pretty horrible

hamstersarse · 25/06/2024 06:45

TempestTost · 25/06/2024 01:06

I think I might like to see the whole interview without the Guardian quoting bits and pieces.

It seems that to some extent he's talking about why he thinks Tate resonated with so many young men, and I am not convinced the GUardian isn't parsing his statements to make them look worse than they are. And it seems pretty clear he doesn't think he's overall a great example or role model.

The problem I suppose is that I don't trust the Guardian. I remember a few years ago the complete hatchet job they did on Jordan Peterson, and they haven't exactly been a great example of honesty in general lately.

Absolutely

My first reaction to the title is that it is factually true that Tate has been an important voice to young men.

Like that or hate that, young men have been mesmerised by him

WarriorN · 25/06/2024 06:48

But I feel some of his comments were pretty horrible

Oh but the sex trafficking and abuse of women, that was fine was it because they were stupid?

Joe Wicks has a similar message; just devoid of the grooming use of cars and women as objects and flaunting wads of cash.

Edited

how much do you actually know about his case?
some of these women were his ex gf
both brothers up for the same crimes?
the whole thing stinks

Oh dear! You don't actually believe all that stuff they print in that freesheet which gets left in Wetherspoon's, do you?

Do you think that Tate telling impressionable young men and boys to abuse and control women, that they're only good to have sex on, (on chosen carefully) to take their wages etc are positive things for them to aspire to?

RosaRoja · 25/06/2024 06:53

Crikey. What sickening views on a feminist board. Does that make me “woke”? Jesus fucking wept.

hamstersarse · 25/06/2024 06:55

@WarriorN
He has not been accused of rape
He has been accused of trafficking because he set women up and managed them on Only Fans

Many people do this.

The more lies you say about him, the more the young men flock to him, and the more he’s proved ‘right’ that the matrix, which would include the guardian, are not to be trusted

If you had a young male adult child and started saying all this to him, I guarantee you it would make him think you had no idea about Tate at all and would almost certainly not trust your opinion on him

if you’ve never watched him at source, first hand, you really do need to before spouting hit piece sound bites

I asked you what Farage actually said. You claim we got him wrong and you can't say how. So you retract that, then?

On second thought, just fucking forget it. Anybody who blameshifts and calls victims of sexual predators "stupid" is not worth one more minute of anyone's time. It's boring, because you're just repeating the same nonsense over and over and not addressing points. Are you a bot? Forget I said that. It was rhetorical.

WarriorN · 25/06/2024 06:57

NashvilleQueen · 25/06/2024 06:57

Tell you what stinks @Creamcakes99, the very notion that Tate is any kind of good influence on boys. I really hope you don't have sons if Tate and Farage are your examples of moral direction.

Leaving aside the extremely serious allegations of rape, exploitation and money laundering, he's a repugnant example of everything that is wrong with toxic masculinity. Trading on some notion that being wealthy but also a controlling prick to women is some kind of life goal. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Also your vague list of things you like about Reform is based on Nigel's greatest bullshit hits. Most of them aren't actually accurate and none of them would he do anything to change. He's a con man. You're a fool. And a misogynist.

hamstersarse · 25/06/2024 06:58

Why do people here believe young men follow him in such high numbers?

RosaRoja · 25/06/2024 06:58

The matrix. What absolute bloody conspiracy nutters have we here?

IncompleteSenten · 25/06/2024 06:59

"How can so many people still be in the thrall of Farage and Reform UK"

Like attracts like. 🤷 It really is that simple.

RosaRoja · 25/06/2024 06:58

The matrix. What absolute bloody conspiracy nutters have we here?

The fact you are not aware of his use of the word ‘matrix’ tells me you literally know nothing about him

As I said above, this is not helpful in stopping young men following him. In fact, it has the opposite effect
