Women’s voices are too shrill and naggy for men like KS (and others) to hear. If we try saying it in a nice male baritone then maybe they can hear us.

I understand exactly how you feel - I’ve had a lifetime of being ignored or talked down to by a lot of men simply because I’m female, and thus in their eyes not worth listening to, and I had hoped things would be better by now not worse.

But we're not voting on past manifestos & governments, are we? We're voting on Labour's offer for the next five years & it's looking worse for women by the day.

Also, what about compensation for WASPI women? Article is from 14 June. Whether or not you agree with the issue of compensation (& please don't anyone derail into that), it will be interesting to see what happens if Labour win - though I'd have preferred them to say one way or the other in the manifesto, so we all know where we stand.

And if we were the GRA is prime evidence of just how little consideration Labour have for women and women's rights. The current state of play stems entirely from the GRA and EqA both pieces of legislation brought in by Labour.
