From the Times article above:
"Morgan McSweeney, the party’s campaign chief, is said to believe that there are 100 seats or more which are currently too close to call, with about five million voters still uncertain which party to back.
McSweeney’s focus on winning over “hero voters” in swing seats who previously voted Conservative has helped put Labour on course for power, and the strategy has seen the party pick up support in constituencies it needs to win while shedding some on the left in safe urban seats."
So why are Labour pushing gender ideology, which is unlikely to appeal to just the voters they want to attract?
Are they hoping those voters won't notice or care? And that the urban voters can be kept on side with rainbow-washing?
