does anybody remember that clomping ‘ballerina’ from a while back, being feted by all the actually talented and skilled women? All a bloke has to do is turn up in a skirt and everyone acts as if they’ve done something marvelous - women rarely get such praise even when they achieve something truly outstanding.

Meanwhile we have Eddie Izzard saying he wouldn't dream of taking a woman's role in a film because 'it wouldn't be fair'. Huh. Chance would be a fine thing.
