Voices must be heard, even if this is an opinion piece. This mad ideology only continues whilst we allow it and not speaking up is a CHOICE to allow it to keep happening.

Maybe Jonathan Liew could do the smallest amount of research possible and walk across the office and ask Sean Ingle (Guardian chief sports reporter) why single sex sport is necessary to enable fair and inclusive access? Perhaps he could just Google Sean Ingle’s articles?

Why has the Guardian published this? It does nothing to ‘detoxify’ debate.

Somebody certainly seems to be exploiting the issue for right wing purposes, and to find that person I suggest Liew looks in the mirror.

I agree, but the point of the article is that the only solution is single sex sport.

Since every single transwoman is, by definition, a biological man, they are a man in a frock. Unless they are wearing leggings and a naice top.

It's just got bugger all to do with sports, unless it's that the kit for men and women is unnecessarily 'gendered' (rather than designed to fit and be functional on men or women's bodies as apt). Sorting that out should be easy.

A trans woman should've written the article, I would like to ask Jonathan Liew why he thinks it is his right to take the place of a trans woman who would've been better positioned to write such an article.
