I feel so sad about this. I clocked up some first time finishers for my local race a while back, nothing like a course record or anything like that. But it just feels so sad and hopeless that I wouldn't have done that against a trans runner of equivalent club athlete standard. Male/female difference for similar ability is about 2 minutes at 5k.

I love the way that TW competing in their sex category is terribly dangerous and could lead to them losing their lives, but women losing sex segregated prisons, refuge accommodation, live in addiction services, homeless accommodation, changing rooms and so on, presents no danger to women at all and it’s just hysteria to say it will.
