I'm delighted to have received notification from the CPS via Surrey Police that following my arrest in October 2022 and then again in April 2023, I will not be prosecuted for either malicious communications or harassment.

The CPS consider that the evidential test has not been met.

I am however still being sued for "misuse of private information" and I am very well aware that the complainant will inevitably exercise their right to review the CPS decision so I will say no more, at this stage.

I've only tried the Tunnocks from tesco....for science. I think I should go to Waitrose tomorrow and get a box of theirs to try....for science.

Gritty Tunnocks is definitely haunted by something in his past, something that won't stay buried.

I'm sure that Caroline will move on with her life once:

• The civil claim is concluded (read: won).
• Surrey Police make appropriate restitution now they are being sued (the claim was stayed whilst the criminal case was ongoing).

The complainant would benefit from not looking at her (and mine, and Adrian's, and everyone else they take exception to for that matter) feed and doing nutjob things like obtaining my wife's Grant of Probate. If you behave in nutjob ways, the rest of us are going to conclude you are in fact a nutjob.

It’s disgusting how one sided this is with people seemingly deliberately looking for posts/writing they could take offence at and interpreting them in the most inflammatory ways, knowing the police are in thrall.

What it seems to indicate is that there is a person who finds the very existence of a group of people to be something this person wants to eradicate. Kind of the definition of bigotry, IMO.

I must confess I am a kiwi farmer.

As in, I literally grow kiwi berries, the males are there to pollinate the females. Literally their only job.

Non binary kiwi berries, not valid. Sorry not sorry.

Is the plant the kiwi fruit grows on the same species as the passion flower vine?

I had wondered about this.

I think the passion fruit and the kiwi fruit are very different genera(?) - passion fruit are from South America, kiwis from China (hence Chinese gooseberry).

I used to have a passionflower vine that was like a triffid - it self seeded like mad.

Grew a kiwi vine from seed a few years ago but it was killed by The Big Frost. No idea what I’d have done with it had it survived.

Passiflora edulis is passion fruit. I also grow those.

Kiwifruit is Actinidia. It is a huge old bastard of a plant.

Kiwi berry is Actinidia arguta. Smaller fruits than kiwis.

I've been investigating kiwi farming and it is an absolute non-starter. The little fuckers only produce 2 or 3 eggs a year while chickens bang out 300. Also the eggs are massive and are useless outside of commercial catering. They also have a very poor conversion of feed to meat, need a very large area of land per kiwi and are highly vulnerable to predation.

Basically, trying to farm kiwis is a stupid idea and anybody who is obsessed with kiwi farms needs to reconnect with reality.

Same house had a big hibiscus growing round the patio. Felt quite tropical.

No hummingbirds though - we had those in Texas and I found them ridiculously thrilling. Our (rental) garden was very sparse so I used to put sugar water feeders out for them.
