URGENT CURRENT CASE - Public Access Request - J Phoenix - The Open University - 3322700/2021

J- when you retweet who do you expect to see them?
LD - whoever is following me

ickky · 13/10/2023 13:09

LD released, gives massive sigh.

That's your evidence (for what it's worth is the unsaid part)

BettyFilous · 13/10/2023 13:10

Another lurker expressing thanks to those of you providing updates. Reading this morning’s updates was so gripping I burned my lunch. I am now scraping all the burnt bits off.

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 13/10/2023 13:10

Even Judge Young had to tell LD to answer the question!

pronounsbundlebundle · 13/10/2023 13:01

She keeps on saying 'a safe inclusive work and study environment' but she's creating the opposite of that for GC women and men and scientists.

She says it so fast, it blurs into one long noise.

Saying it loud like that is like a mantra.

They is instead of was indicating that they still have a twitter account. Not that I am calling them a weaselly liar.

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 13/10/2023 13:05

Judge - why did you feel you needed to do something in the first place?

That was a good question, i thought.

They gave a big sigh almost like 'gosh so glad I got through that, didn't I do well?'. No Love, you really didn't...

ickky · 13/10/2023 13:09

LD released, gives massive sigh.

I bet JM gives LD a massive slow hand clap. 👏🏻

CriticalCondition · 13/10/2023 13:14

She says it so fast, it blurs into one long noise.

Saying it loud like that is like a mantra.

Yes, that struck me. Every time she said it she ran all the words together, they tripped off her tongue like a recitation.

katmarie · 13/10/2023 13:14

Ameanstreakamilewide · 13/10/2023 13:13

That was a good question, i thought.

I agree, her attitude of something must be done suggests that the assumption of harm is automatic. Again no critical thinking.

And responding by saying that she doesn't have a Twitter/X account anymore.

Judge: Silence.

I wonder when she deactivated her account?

ickky well done a forensic spot if ever there was one!

katmarie · 13/10/2023 13:18

they haven't booted people out?

MrsOvertonsWindow · 13/10/2023 13:21

"The Open University’s mission is to be open to people, places, methods and ideas.

Seems a rather hollow aim in the light of the behaviour and thinking that their staff are demonstrating in court when under oath?

I agree, her attitude of something must be done suggests that the assumption of harm is automatic. Again no critical thinking.

No critical thinking needed, when you're super speshal and the Faculty always bends over backwards to cater to your every dopey, manufactured whim.

Run to the teacher, like a bratty kid 'Miss! Miss! I heard Jo swearing at lunch time!'

The 'i have a little voice' comment must have been haunting her yesterday.

RealityFan · 13/10/2023 13:31

God, what a bearpit academia must be today. But not the bearpit of old, where alpha men routinely got you fired or moved on if you were a Jew, communist, homosexual. Now it's beta men (cucks) and their female collaborators (clucks) like LD here for literally transgressing groupthink. Never was purported "kindness" so ruthlessly Darwinian.

It's almost as if the brutal unemotionalism of Right capitalist economics has its analogue in Left academia castes. The Right can be pretty unsympathetic is you fall on hard times, and the Left in academia happy for you to feel the burn.

LarkLane · 13/10/2023 13:37

GCITC · 13/10/2023 11:36

Ben Cooper saying "choke on my girl dick" in a husky voice should definitely be the trailer for the film.

There's only one person to play Dr. Leigh Downes in the movie.
Eddie/Suzzie/DickTwiddle/Izzard.
It'll be such a challenge, but I'm sure Izzard will rise to the occasion.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 13:38

No, because Downes isn't remotely masculine.

PerkingFaintly · 13/10/2023 13:40

katmarie · 13/10/2023 13:06

Do you understand the difference between offence and harm? Ooooh good question.

I did an actual Sharp Intake of Breath there.

LarkLane · 13/10/2023 13:43

Hmm perhaps my sarcasm is lost in the written word re Eddie Erish😁

I couldn't possibly mention any biological description of Downes, cos it's literal violence.🙄

Bowednotbroken · 13/10/2023 13:44

Today's Sex Matters memo mentions a lot about the tribunal from Maya's perspective - including that Jo's witness statement will be published at the weekend. It doesn't say where.
