CM has only listened to part of the SMinds podcast [bingo]. Panel member making positive remarks about JP comments on that. CM doesn't remember those parts being discussed in the working group.

The fact she listened to any of it surprises me

Sisterpita · 12/10/2023 13:17

Good question from panel
member - given the investigator was chosen for his knowledge of academic freedom and he recommended taking down the open letters what was the discussion that led to the decision not take them down.

LarkLane · 12/10/2023 13:18

I don't think JM does know @Chrysanthemum5 as she's taking further instruction from clients. Perhaps starting with WTF is this all about?

Mmmnotsure · 12/10/2023 13:18

Panel: Did you consider academic freedom?

CM: That would have been a consideration. The decision was that balance between lawful right to protest and ac freedom and also element of protections under EA. It would have been looking at all of those.

That passive voice again.

Sisterpita · 12/10/2023 13:19

I think not taking down the open letters is potentially the smoking gun.

Sisterpita · 12/10/2023 13:20

Bingo card - annual leave (wonder if she backed into a bin too)

ickky · 12/10/2023 13:20

Bingo! I was on Holiday.

Judge has such a lovely clear voice for us typists.

Zeugma · 12/10/2023 13:22

You could not make any of this up. It beggars belief. I’m genuinely sitting here open-mouthed.

Mmmnotsure · 12/10/2023 13:23

CM: Where violence was proposed in any tweets by ext people they were referred to police by OU.

[Bet those weren't GC tweets.]

Sisterpita · 12/10/2023 13:23

So the security services reported tweets with threats of violence to the police - at least they were on the ball.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 12/10/2023 13:08

Rampant Clerk-ophobia, for a start. With blatant CVP discrimination.

We're victims, you and I! 😫

We really are. I'm sure we're being discriminated against and this breaks the law (the law as I, in my own opinion make it up, obviously, not the law as it actually is).

OMG as I was typing this I got let in!!!!

LarkLane · 12/10/2023 13:24

I'm doing a little hop of joy at the level of shitness and skulduggery and incompetence being revealed.

chilling19 · 12/10/2023 13:25

Judge - did you identify any breaches in the social media policy?

HR Wonk - waffle, waffle, waffle.

So no then.

Judge - there was one that mentioned violence, does that help you to recall?

HR Wonk - waffle, waffle, waffle. Referred to police, because not one of ours.

Judge - claimant sent retweets - comms team monitoring - were you aware of any tweets that breached SM policy by employees?

HR Wonk - waffle, waffle, waffle. Perhaps not what we would expect. Let's give it to the line manager.

But she said earlier they didn't identify any staff tweeting

Bingo card - 'Annual leave"

ickky · 12/10/2023 13:25

Break until 2.30pm

I bet they were the lowest paid workers an all.

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/10/2023 13:26

They really are showing themselves to be absolutely shit at their jobs

chilling19 · 12/10/2023 13:26

Everyone - log back in now so you are in the waiting room when we resume. You will be subjected to wftchtj but worth the price of entry.

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/10/2023 13:27

And even more shit at helping their KC to present the best case. I took against JM because of her horrible behaviour towards Jo but even I feel a bit sorry for her now.

Yep.

I got let in just to be kicked out. That'll teach me to take too long for a wee and cuppa. Will need to make sure my lunch doesn't overrun......

Good idea but give it a few minutes first until a bit after 1.30. You get automatically chucked out after being in the waiting room for an hour. Voice of experience!

LipbalmOrKnickers · 12/10/2023 13:34

Was just coming on to say same @CriticalCondition - give it a few extra mins in case of delayed start!

HellonHeels · 12/10/2023 13:34

Mmmnotsure · 12/10/2023 11:28

BC: Complaint on 24 June. Presumably you read it soon after it arrived.

CM: Didn't read the grievance at that time.

BC: You were in charge of HR etc re this. You didn't read it ?

CM: I didn't read the full grievance.

BC: Ever?!

CM: No.

Edited

I'm late to the party but FUCKING HELL

chilling19 · 12/10/2023 13:35

Oh, I didn't know that. These systems are so crap
