The Guardian have just posted an invitation to put questions to Eddie Izzard. This feels like a great opportunity to get a well worded, gender critical question out there. The thing is I'm a bit stuck, collectively we must be able to come up with something though!

It would be great, but there’s absolutely no way they’ll ask a challenging question. They would only ask anything GC if they were able to make it sound ridiculous, so that he could reply with a putdown.
In an ideal world I’d like to know what he has to say about that psychological condition that we’re forbidden to mention. The one that mainly affects middle aged men who like pictures of themselves looking, er, “attractive”.

Hi Eddie, I was always a big fan of your progressive views on fashion being open to all. Do you think that the definition of clothing and make up as being either 'girl mode' or 'boy mode is actually a step backwards in terms of breaking down the social construct of gender, in comparison to your previously held view that a dress wasn't for a woman, it was for an individual.

Everywhere I look it’s like we are heading back to the dark ages. In society: Gender roles, stereotypes, Globally: people behaving like savages, invading & fighting over land.

Im not some religious nut job but this really is making me start to think we are in the end days. Every part of society is unravelling at the seams.
