The Mail article seems to rely on the word of a couple of anonymous members of staff and the fact that the programming had been altered.
Which does not mean that it is wrong. It sounds credible to me. If I worked there I would be furious and would be phoning the Mail.
It is worth noting that the article appeared later evening and was pretty much top of the Mail's news feed, which I assume was because if was gathering plenty of clicks. Comments then stopped. And now the same article has gone from the main News feed and is only appearing in their specialist film and TV section. I wonder if, when the main shift arrived, they decided to exercise some caution. Perhaps they are waiting for a response from the BBC. Who in turn may be banging some heads together in R6.
If it is really true, and again I think it probably is, it is really shocking. Pure misogyny and bullying.
