Comedy event cancelled at the Fringe because of Glinner?

I hadn't seen anything about this on X/Twitter previously, but apparently some activists have been putting pressure on the venue and they've cancelled an upcoming event called Comedy Unleashed because one of the comedians is Graham Linehan. How utterly pathetic. https://twitter.com/UnleashedComedy/status/1691476377793409024?s=20 Seems to be organised by/associated with Andrew Doyle, aka Titania McGrath.

Strange there are no fears, worries or anxieties from these passive aggressive snowflakes when they're instilling fear, worry and anxiety into others.

It's like a page from How To Bully And Get Away With It...be inhumane to others, and then claim victimhood status when you're found out.

Quite how such spineless individuals ever came to rule the roost remains one of the great enigmas in this Age Of Unreality.

Because a) the vast majority of us aren’t out on licence after serving three decades in prison for kidnap and attempted murder

and b) pointing out all the terrible things you’ve said about ‘intergenerational sex’ (aka child sexual abuse) isn’t ‘incitement to violence’.

if we stood on a stage in front of a crowd and told said crowd to ‘punch Peter Tatchell in the fucking face’, like SJ Barker did (only with ‘terfs’ instead of ‘Peter Tatchell’) you would have a point.
