I have seen it quoted on here for many years that Tunnocks are to be supported as they support women's rights. I have looked on their website and social media and can see nothing to support this rumour. Does anyone have any evidence? Thanks.

Tunnocks Caramel Logs, caramel wafer covered with toasted coconut and chocolate, oh my!

Available outside of Uddingston too.

Cookiedough41 · 11/07/2023 22:30

Oh god anything quite frankly. They used to do (free) tours of the factory as well although I'm not sure if they are still on. The waiting list for them ran into years but oh so worth it.

Main Street Uddingston has just become my No. 1 holiday destination!

This is not going well. My DF took us to Scotland twice on holiday. It was where I was convinced that haggis was the insides of a bagpipes. Why didn't he take us to Uddingston? My life could have been so different.

Everyone knows haggis are little animals who live in hilly areas. with the legs on one side of their body longer than the other.so they can only walk round the hill in one direction. In haggis hunting season all you have to do is get them to run in the other direction then wait for them to fall over and roll to the bottom of the hill.

Bagpipes indeed! God some people are soooooooo gullible. Anyway just booking my haggis hunting/teacake eating Scotland holiday.

You can end up quite sticky eating a tea cake I find. I like to eat them in stages, pick off the chocolate first, lick the marshmallow off the biscuit before finally consuming that

Animal!

I don't think caramel wafers are getting enough attention on this thread

I do love a snowball, tea cake and log. But the wafer is supreme.

Well what's the feminist position on snowballs?

A man is still a man even if he's got snowballs?

😂😂😂

It's all well enough for you but I was 8 years old. My parents had bought me a cuddly toy bagpipes that looked like a tartan animal with a long nose and tail and four spindly legs. Haggis was on the menu in the restaurant and I asked the waiter what it was. He told me that it was the insides of a bagpipes and I believed him.

I now know that it is far more disgusting than that.

Bonbon21 · 11/07/2023 23:13

You do know you have to keep teacakes in the fridge in warm weather dont you?
The chocolate cracks when you bite into it then!!!
Yum!!!

The attached is evidence of my devotion to the Tunnocks caramel wafer. I have even proved with the attached it isn't some random photo nicked off the Internet.

Oh that was cruel on 8 year old you. To be fair I was only a bit younger when I was told about the haggis hunting season.

At last a thread I feel knowledgeable about to post on. Though you’ve still all thought me very important new information

Is that your way of saying you identify as a tunnock's? I was joking about it being an identity! Humans aren't biscuits!
