The side effects for puberty blockers are much harsher on a female body (and relatively pointless, seeing as the vast majority of female transitioners are relatively passable after a couple of years on testosterone).

Women are born with all their eggs. Men make sperm all the time.

You might also want to look at the thread with the video of a group of detransitioners talking about how they needed adults in their life to hold boundaries, to slow them down and protect them because they made choices they feel happened too fast, without their being able to see the consequences, which they now bitterly regret.

Are you surprised that women and mothers especially would want to protect teenagers of both sexes from that kind of distress later on? That they wouldn't feel a responsibility to have the boundaries when those transitioners say that because of the lack of boundaries they were enabled into this disaster rather than protected by the adults who should have been there for them?

We're all on this board operating out of a sense of responsibility and care for others, we may have different perspectives on how best to act on that sense, but that is what underlies it.
