In what universe can a cis man instantly tell if a passing trans woman has a penis or not and in what world will a cis man treat a trans woman always with the same dignity and respect. Yes you can. Hormone replacement implies by it's name replacing one hormone with another. In this case testosterone with Estrogen. It's exactly the same process for Cisgender Women

No. Men are not wanted in women's single sex spaces. If the men's spaces don't work for them, then they need to organise for alternative spaces of their own, but this is a very powerful whitewash job that avoids looking at why women's spaces are so very, very desired and why women's voices and issues are so stridently silenced. Because to care about women gets in the way of achieving the desired access.

Regardless of how sad the situation may be for TW, the answer still cannot be to remove single sex resources, safety and equality of access for women.

There are many other solutions that do not involve destroying women's resources.

Women who need single sex access go on using the single sex spaces that work for them as they are. Men do the same. Everyone who does not want to use single sex spaces campaigns for and gets gender neutral spaces and uses those, joined by grateful dads of daughters, mums of boys, carers with an opposite sex client, etc etc.

We dance, we sing, we go home happy. Everyone included, all needs met.

You will need though to have some consequences in place for the male people who are absolutely determined not to permit female people access or a space that they can't dominate, and who like to gloat on twitter about intentionally using that space just to show women who's boss and to make sure vulnerable women know that men own them and their spaces.

I don't feel unsafe in female toilets that are used exclusively by women. Sometimes an idiot will push at the door by mistake, but that's just an annoyance, I've never had a woman blarge in deliberately.

I have always been led to believe that toilet stall have gaps for health and safety reasons. When I was a fire warden we had to knock then check beneath the doors in drills and evacuations. 'Brick shithouse' toilets are not a good idea for this reason either.

You just made the point that there are vanishingly few Trans Women who pass even though you wouldn't know which Trans Women pass because well they pass. So stop them from entering these spaces and watch as passing Trans Men enter these spaces instead because it's required by law. That definitely wont complicate things and make us Cisgender Women feel incredibly unsafe.
