No they aren't. NHS has revised their guidelines on this. At best the effects are unknown, at worst they are dangerous. Animal trials have shown blockage in brain development which is irreversible.

Many stages in body and brain development have to occur within a "window" of developmental opportunity, and if this is missed the developments don't occur. It isn't known what happens if an individual doesn't get the pubertal surge of appropriate sex hormones.

Almost all children on blockers progress to cross-sex hormones. Nothing is known about the long-term effects on the body - not least because most patients haven't been properly followed up, but those that have been suggest that effects on the body are not good.

No, I do not want to share a space where I am undressed with any male. How that male identifies is irrelevant, I may sympathise with gender needs but I do not hold a belief that a male changes sex or is ever anything other than a male.

Many women (biological women) can only access single sex spaces. If a male walks in, they have to walk out. Male people do not matter more than female ones. If you see male needs as trumping female ones, well if male supremacism is your thing then you do you, but I'm not supporting it or participating in it.

You have your gender neutral spaces and enjoy them, leave women who need single sex spaces in peace, we're all fine.

Unless the issue is that you wish to provide male people with validation and you're ok with collateral damage of women in the process because only women.

Btw if you identify as cis then you do you, your choice, your identity, but please don't forcibly label other women, they have identities and beliefs too.

As an aside, I think there ought to be a charity for women who identify as cis. It strikes me that they're probably extremely vulnerable.

It's not an issue of funding it's an issue of gatekeeping and the astronomical amount of time spent processing Transgender and non-binary people.

It's the same with asylum claims into the UK. The government does not have enough trained specialists to process claims but surprisingly enough diagnosing someone for Gender Dysphoria is incredibly probing and most Transgender People lie anyway after waiting for 4-5 years because why would you tell the truth after waiting so long. It's pointless.

Living as your desired gender for 2 years is a much better measurement and gives a better assumption of if a person is happy living as they are.

I personally don't think that removing healthly body parts is something that should be done using public funds at all.

I'm not trying to shame women. I'm happy using GN spaces. I feel safer in them when they are done right. When done wrong they can be terrifying. Trying to probe someone by there sex characteristics is impossible at the moment so trying to do so is essentially pointless.
