I am not sure the 'purity spiral' attempts to stop women crossing the left/right divide on this will work for much longer either. TRAs are a common enemy.

I also thought she spoke eloquently on this issue. I note all the early comments basically saying 'DON'T LISTEN! DON'T LISTEN!'. I think we're past that now. There are women (and men) on the left and right wing, as well as the middle ground and floating voters who are concerned about this. There are gay people, straight people and trans people. We're all concerned and this may be all we have in common. I certainly won't exclude anyone from this fight because I disagree with their politics.

Very much disagree with this premise, it's simplistic and often only used to dismiss differing viewpoints and limit debate.

It's entirely possible to have a superficially similar position but to come to it for entirely different reasons. For example, one person may disagree with aspects of trans activism purely because they hate trans people. another can disagree with the same activism due to the impact on women's rights and safety.

Additionally, many may disagree with someone like Morgan on most issues but agree totally with him on US gun control. Does that mean they should actually think a lack of control and regulation of guns in the US is fine, just so that they are not on the same side as Morgan?

How about Magdalene Berns? Would you listen to her? Be kind has done women no favours. I now tell my granddaughters always be kind to yourself first.

I have no idea what she has ever done, can you expand on what makes her vile and odious.
