...who were being preached absolute codswallop at by their teacher?

I presume deleted, but why?

The timing of all this is perfect if the school guidelines consultation drops this week. All the previous denials have been blown apart by that recording and questions are being asked about why some teachers have abandoned safeguarding and professionalism in the face of children claiming to be cats?. Such a wake up call.

This is weird. The SNP railroads the Gender Bill, within days Adam Bryson casts his ugly shadow and stymies things.

Now in the same week that Sunak voices his objections to parents being kept in the dark by schools over gender ID, this girl's video comes to light showing the insanity of this position.

Truth is stranger than fiction, and some timings you really can't make up.

I believe the word is serendipity.

Twitter is being led today by woke scold Otto English, basically saying the whole story is a lie. There was no "cat gender", all made up, to humiliate the teacher amongst other things.

The whole story is a Dead Cat.

And reports from the likes of Kath Birbalsingh that this phenomenon not only exists but is widespread, is a lie, a confected culture war.

For me, the "cat thing" is the least interesting bit of the story. The same event could have happened several years ago with a pupil IDing as NB before this was well known, and Otto would say it's fake news/alt right spoiling for a fight.

The only thing that interests me. It's unreasonable to expert kids based in reality to have to kowtow to gender ideology, cat, dog, hamster, I don't give a fuck.

Yes, no kid IDing differently should be bullied or humiliated. But at same time no kid should be forced to accept spurious genders.

And no kid should be told to relent or take a hike.

Cat talk is missing the point. The iniquity of gender politics remains the story, as it has for a decade now.

Francesgumm · 23/06/2023 09:07

The catgender thing is a bit of a red herring. My issue is the teacher saying the girls’ views were despicable and that they should go to a different school with their ‘wrong think’.
Also her stating as fact that intersex is a third sex. The girls’ statements were 100% correct although I don’t agree with making it all public.

The school have had a meeting with the Dept of Education to discuss the matter but apart from a chat with all concerned and a promise that teachers will receive more training in RSE delivery and going forward more discussion on both sides will be encouraged - it has all been swept under the carpet. They have made reference to the fact that there will soon be new guidelines coming out from the government on RSE and things will be clearer then …

I don't think it's coincidence. I believe it's the reporting.

There are atrocities and absurdities happening all the time.

We know there is no upper ceiling to any of this. It's just that now MSM is reporting it.

I genuinely thought that that picture of Karen White looking like the worst of thugs, would do the trick. But it didn't, because it wasn't widely reported.

Same with a male running a rape crisis shelter telling raped women to reframe their trauma.

Or the denial of a rape by the NHS because no man was present, etc.

There are numerous times. But now the papers and media are on it.

Genuinely curious where you have been seeing a difference.

The Daily Mail, Times and Telegraph have been covering these stories for ages and I've seen similar coverage in The Daily Express and The Sun, stories that disappeared without trace into the black holes of wokery at the BBC, ITV and The Guardian.

Are they surfacing now in the "Liberal Left" MSM?

No, it's in those papers. But they are ramping up the coverage. It's daily now.

Bosky · 24/06/2023 03:29

Thanks, Datun. I wonder if the looming General Election has something to do with it? Both examples cited by RealityFan have a political, and party political, angle.

Jess Phillips was obviously in receipt of a Labour Party Memo along the lines of, "Fucking ignorant bigot voters still seem to think that fucking women don't have fucking penises. Whiney fucking "Dead Fucking Boring Dead Women List Woman" is going to do a fucking U-Turn as the earliest fucking opportunity and try to look like she gives a fucking shit about that fucking Duffield bint".

Francesgumm · 24/06/2023 06:37

Kemi Badenoch has ordered a snap Ofsted into the school but they only had an Ofsted report just done in Jan’23 which was ‘Good’ in all areas.

Yes I can remember when I first started paying proper attention to this issue (2017) there would be articles but they were weeks apart. Now there isn’t a day that goes by without significant media coverage.

Nellodee · 24/06/2023 07:08

The difference between identifying as cat gender rather than the opposite sex, is because everyone has an intrinsic essence within themselves that lets them know if they are truly men or women. Some have an essence, but it tells them they are definitely not purely men or women but instead a very special exception. Some have a fluctuating essence. Terfs have a cis essence, but are too stubborn to admit it. But absolutely no-one has the essence of an animal, because that would be plain silly. NOW do you understand?

Have you seen this definition from an actual trans activist. I think yours might have the edge.

Imagine what this generation could achieve if they spent less time being aware of their gender identities and more time being aware of other things.

I mean, they're not going to cure cancer, are they?

borntobequiet · 24/06/2023 07:42

It’s getting traction now because however awful transgender rapists being put into women’s prisons might be, and however widely reported, most people don’t have direct experience of this, and don’t particularly care, though they might find it ridiculous. Whereas your own child being told off in school for defending a perfectly sensible position when being “taught” stuff that’s palpably untrue, will offend many many people, especially when parents nowadays are expected to be involved in their children’s education in a way that didn’t really happen in the past.

Don’t forget this very pertinent part of the statement.

"I'm an adult human, and I recognise within myself a constellation of data points that I identify as female."

Note that it is ‘female’ they identify as, not just woman.

This is of course combined with the lofty intellectual statement that :

“It has become clear that sex is, in fact, really quite fuzzy and uncertain and it covers quite a diverse range of different states.”

They are very proud of themselves for their descriptions. Designed to wedge open womanhood to allow them to take the word for themselves. Because they include in there that if you tell your brain long enough that you are female, then you really are. (That is disturbingly childlike)

It is remarkable to see the mental gymnastics these male people perform to try to fit their demand that they be women.

Helleofabore · 24/06/2023 07:53

Oh dear. That was the additional information from the source of the statement signal posted a screenshot of.

Kemi B has also raised the issue of that school failing the political impartiality test given what the teacher said. I'm bored of writing to my MP pointing out that the DfE have been funding and recommending political activist groups to schools for years and are in breach of impartiality guidelines BUT....

If Osted do comply with her demand to inspect whether that school is in breach of both that and Ofsted guidance (that all the protected characteristics must be treated with respect) then this could be key in removing extreme trans activist groups from schools?

You'd hope so. They're tougher to shift than gravy stains on your shirt.
