Much as I dislike Elon Musk, he has vast influence and cannot be 'cancelled '. I'm glad he's speaking out on this topic.

I wonder how this will go down now that he owns the platform the TRAs are usually so vocal on?

Gosh you won’t even be allowed to say that on Twitter not so long ago. So many people got banned for saying less. Thank goodness we can now shout it from the rooftops.

He's speaking out against sterilisation in tonight's tweet. I think his child just changed it's name. Even more powerful so that he is speaking out if he has a trans child.
He's speaking from experience as a parent with a trans child. I'm so happy he is on fire with this.
A few months ago very mild opinions would lead to a person being banned.
There is a lot of "terf" hate speech & hade towards GC people on twitter, I hope Elon's next mission is to investigate this further. The woman hating womanphobes need a taste of their own medicine.

Out of all the people in the world Elon Musk is the person you want advocating against this ideology. He has the power, media ownership & money to make a huge difference.
In the past few weeks Elon Musk, the Times, Telegraph, Daily Mail & lots of US media have turned incredibly GC. That's powerful. They are all honing in on what is being done to children & people are rightly horrified. Elon won't let this go.

I'd rather he was highlighting the dangers, than extolling the virtues of what we know to be a route leading to terrible outcomes for children.

@PrincessPalatine well they have been effectively silenced in the past so yesit's big progress! A couple of months ago people were banned from twitter for being gc now Elon Musk has taken over & change is happening. More progress.

And what better person to use his influence to do that. He won't be silenced that's for sure!

Judging by some accounts I'm following the TRAs are not happy with this development at all & are very pissed off that pride is toned down this year. Tide definitely is turning.

I think this is difficult because although I agree with what he is saying, at the end of the day its only 'good' because I agree with him. He is so powerful that if he starts a negative narrative about something else, there is no counter to him.

Because he is a proto-fascist who supports people like Putin and Orban? Because he demonises Fauci? A lot of what he posts is Dad-level, 4chan–Clark Griswold stuff.
