Am looking forward to tomorrow’s debate on the Equality Act. Anyone else planning to watch it?

My Labour MP very much knows what a woman is and I know she’ll make her voice heard.

I am, will be interesting to see which MPs from all parties are there.

Apparently Politics Live will be having a debate with a trans person and Maya at 1pm tomorrow.

Could be interesting as the TRAs have traditionally been ‘we’re not a debate’ when for months politicians have been debating ‘what is a woman’ (maybe ask the woman who birthed you 🤷🏼‍♀️).

I find these sorts of debates make me really annoyed with the superficiality and dishonesty of some of the arguments, so not sure my blood pressure can stand it. Hope it's fairly legal and logical discussion rather than veering off into what various people are like, conflating sex and gender, conflating femininity and female, etc etc.

I won't watch it. I'm sure it'll make my blood boil!

I don't think that I will break the rules by suggesting that RMW identifies as someone who passes as a woman.

I'm marking my place for discussion on how it goes. I'll try to watch live if I can.
