Big thumbs up to the transactivists for putting what would've been a quietly underreported debate about women's rights into the eye of the national media and discussion all across the country and internationally. Prof Stock couldn't have asked for better publicity!

If only they had glued it to the terfy table and left it there for future generations to come and marvel at the ludicrous period in history when some people thought humans could change sex.

It’s pretty sad when some of the alleged brightest minds and some of their teachers talk about banning people just because they don’t agree with their views.
You either have freedom of speech and debate full stop or you don’t have it at all. Kathleen Stock and JKR have always presented their views respectfully and clearly. I just don’t get the opposition to their views and the idea that if you support them you are transphobic - it’s such a lazy way of thinking.
The way this small group even stops members within their own community from talking when they do not align 100% with their narrative is very worrying.
The way certain media outlets try to connect trans rights to other minority rights as they are all connected again shows how lazy they are in their thinking.
These people do no favours to the trans community and their time would be far better spent lobbying parliament for mental health and suicide prevention support for trans people or to raise money for these and other important support groups than attacking people who are standing up for women.
