Caroline has just posted on twitter that the police were trying to force entry - WTF going on?

Three officers saying she has to go with them.

This is yet another example on this thread of demonising a poster purely on the basis of their gender. By this point it’s getting so ridiculous it’s embarrassing 😳.

I sincerely doubt anyone here on this feminist forum gives a flying fuck about his gender (the hint is in it being mainly GENDER CRITICAL women who couldn’t care less what gender presentation anyone has).

Sex, on the other hand, would absolutely matter to the women here on the FEMINIST forum….

I don't think Felix has ever confirmed how he identifies. You're making assumptions.

Ofcourseshecan · 08/05/2023 01:14

Thank god the police are going in mob-handed to arrest a terrifying woman who has dangerously, perhaps murderously, annoyed someone online. Not wasting their time investigating rapes, robberies, murders, child abuse etc.

Felix125 · 08/05/2023 03:02

Dumbo12
But doesn't that require someone to actually look for/ at the evidence?

To answer your point Dumbo12 - if there is evidence there it will surface at some point in the enquiry - happens quite a lot and reporting people often get reported for wasting police time etc.

I've had it quite a few times where a reporting person claims that a suspect has been sending threatening messages. When you complete the downloads, the cell site data & IP addresses shows the messages were sent by the reporting person.

However its often a case where if its word against word and there is no supporting evidence to show a complaint is malicious - ie no CCTV, downloads etc - the case will be NFA'd

ATerrorofLeftovers
And do they investigate to see if there is evidence

To answer your point ATerrorofLeftovers - If its a complaint that's been received about a malicious report then it will be investigated. If its not, then the reporting person will have a right to review the case.

Kicking doors in can not be done if its a summary only offence however - so s2 harassment, wasting police time will fall into this category.

I disagree. Felix has been repeatedly told the issue over many threads and about a number of women. Felix has no interest in acquiring any knowledge about the background to any these cases.

And are you 100% certain that this current arrest is connected to the background?

Felix is just another man invading women's spaces.
Like all the other disrespectful men, invading women's spaces.
He cannot let us talk without interjections and telling us we are wrong.
He is part of the overall problem.

The tag line of this site is - 'by parents for parents' so as a parent I reserve my right to get involved - I am not invading anywhere.

I have not tried to silence anyone in this room - in fact the opposite, i encourage the discussion on this topic. And I am sticking to the rules of the site (unlike others) and I am allowed to post in the 'Feminism' section. This particular thread is about the police which is why I have posted on it.

Its quite ironic when some posters on here tell me to 'F* Off' but yet accuse me of trying to 'silence women'

Also quite a few posters have said '...I see Felix's name and just skip past his posts...' and then complain when I have to post the same arguments. Well, if they do not read my posts, don't be too be surprised when the questions they ask have already been discussed and i have to repeat things.

The forum is 'mumsnet - by parents for parents'
The room is Feminism: Sex & gender discussions
The thread is Caroline F - new arrest / harassment ?

According to the rules of the site, I am allowed to post on here regardless of my sex (male or female). To be more inclusive, not discriminate on sex and strive towards equality.

Two articles in the Observer that might be pertinent, there's this one

I read Sonia Sodha's piece earlier and thought to link it here, too. I haven't seen the other one and will read it now.

I like the way that she has linked Police over-reach in two different types of circumstance.

It does keep getting mentioned every few pages I find

He is deeply creepy. I avoid creepy men, yes.

I'd advise anyone else to do the same.

Yes - good article, arguing from examples across the political spectrum to a conclusion that the police are wagging the Home Office dog.

Don’t you just love an ideology malfunction to end one day and start another. It’s all so very … revealing.

EveryWitchWaybutLoose · 08/05/2023 10:01

And are you saying that men can not have any say on feminism?

Yes.

I suppose men can have opinions, but they don't get a "say" - which implies some sort of power to determine things/ideas/actions.

Men don't have a say in feminism.

A man who 'has to' put us silly women right over and over again. Who hasn't realised that we're ignoring what he has said because it's irrelevant and/or uninteresting.

He can't help himself. He 'has to' keep telling us what he thinks.

We dont know Felix's gender, dont think he ever mentioned it.

His sex however, fairly sure he said hes male. Could be wrong, we might be missexing felix.

Ourladycheesusedatum · 08/05/2023 11:48

Hot pink bras and bobble hats

Howling. Fuck me, cant breath, it's too early for this. Might come back later when I can hold my pee in.

No you don't HAVE to. That's a choice you're making. And in the face of people telling you they wish to ignore your posts, it smacks of you trying to force your opinions on people.

Mycatwantsmedead · 06/05/2023 23:22

I don’t know if this is allowed, but this court judgement was released and posted online this week. It’s related to CF’s first arrest.

https://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/KB/2023/950.html

Am I right in thinking that all SH's court cases go before the same judge now?

The courts seem to be able to do some joined-up thinking, at least.

But its a public forum - so I can post as and when I want. And if people are asking the same questions or raising the same arguments, I am at liability to answer them with my argument/opinion/view point.

The point I am making is that if you don't read what I am posting, don't be surprised that i am repeating myself if people are raising the same questions/issues.

You can, as indeed you are doing, but many people have repeatedly asked you not to, as your contributions feel jarring and intrusive to the discussion that the rest of us are trying to have.

But you are choosing to ignore those requests and continuing to insert yourself into a space where you have been told many many times that you are neither wanted nor appreciated.

Which demonstrates very nicely exactly the kind of male behaviour that we are complaining about.

Grin I see what you did there, @Mycatwantsmedead The Antipodean fruit growers would be proud.

Wims, I've held off from this thread for a while but it's frustrating because I'm interested in the case and it's getting wildly derailed. Any chance this particular bit of discussion could be parked or moved to a dedicated thread?

Yes.

Men don't have a say in feminism.

Oh the irony

Isn't Feminism trying to strive for equality for both sexes. But yet as a man you're saying I can't be involved or have a say in anything to do with that?

And having a say on something and having an opinion about something are much the same meaning.

And people are asking me not to contribute - but those same people are saying that they are just ignoring my posts anyway. Well, they can't have it both ways - if they are ignoring my posts they won't be aware that I am posting. And the fact that I am posting should not bother them.

And I have generally answered questions raised by other posters in any case.

But its a public forum, so the rules allow me to post. And I am not stopping anyone from posting. You are free to post 10 times the volume that I am posting if you wish, I am not stopping you.

EveryWitchWaybutLoose · 08/05/2023 14:46

Isn't Feminism trying to strive for equality for both sexes

Nope. Fundamental misunderstanding of feminism. It's about the liberation of women. Do some reading & research.
