Older news but in Sep 2022 a man threatened a dictionary publisher with b*mb threats because their definition of women includes transwomen.

I've now read 6 media reports of this incident. The fire was in the stairwell of a 6 story block of flats. There is no confirmation that it was started deliberately (at this time). Leaping to conclusions?

@MerlinsLostMarbles my point is that on hospital wards men pose a risk to women which is why there are single sex wards. There have been reports of a shockingly high number of assaults in hospitals by males. JKR is quite rightly supporting single sex wards in hospitals.

It would yes. So we agree. It is illegal to falsely accuse a man whether he claims a trans identity or not. But a man with a trans identity is still a man. And so is a drag queen. And not one of them should be in womens spaces. .

The point is stalking and harassing are crimes. Falsely accusing people of "grooming" and using slurs such as suggesting people "should have their devices checked" (a harmful trope I'm seeing more and more of on Twitter aimed at LGBT people) are illegal.

Whatever your views are on transpeople, I'm sure we can all agree it's good the man who was stalking the drag queen was convicted for his hate crimes?

As above a freedom of info requested revealed for the period 1st July 2001 to 30th June 2022, zero complaints were made by natal women re transwomen using women's wards.

Everyone has that right. It is a pity that so many women had to suffer and in some cases die for it to be taken seriously enough.

I can give you one right that the rest of the population don't have that trans people do have and that is the right to falsify a legal document. So they are already ahead in the rights stakes.
