Why is it every time women complain about something - in this case a tweet inciting serious violence against women - someone pops up shouting 'Look! Squirrel!'

You wanna talk about your squirrel, start your own fucking thread and stop employing distraction tactics in a desperate attempt to get Whittle off the hook.

And for clarity, I too would like the full context of Glinner's tweet. If it was Glinner and not a fake account.

GospelAccordingToMum · 16/04/2023 08:18

This Whittle person <shakes head>

The level of self hatred is real.

Whittle was the person who said publicly they used to meet scouts at camp, when Whittle was a 15 year old Guide, to have sex at camp.

Whittle doesn’t seem to have ever understood boundaries. And if this was Whittle’s opinion as a guide and seems to be proud enough to publicise that this was what they did, what the fuck was scouts doing having Whittle in the scouting movement?

I suspect Whittle really doesn’t see boundaries, they just go for whatever they want, when and where they want it.

Whittle was on here iirc. I vaguely remember them describing their 'seduction'. All very breathless and cringy. And a bit weird, tbh. Despite identifying as a man, it came across as being deliberately narrated by some kind of fan waving Victorian Miss.

Gets high on their own cleverness and success at sticking it to other women, but now the jig's up and people can see through them, descends into common or garden threats.

And yes to whoever said misogyny runs through this crap like a stick of rock. Doesn't matter if they're a female, although the self hate has to be intense.

And I'm not surprised it's blonde, manicured, bolshy Posie who's succeeded in getting Whittle to positively fling off their mask and stamp on it!

Saying "let's give a big NZ welcome" can pass as a joke.

Threats to kill are never jokes and should always be taken seriously.

Only someone completely oblivious to what happened to Kellie Jay could say that. And Whittle posting a pic of Kellie Jay doused in tomato sauce blows that attempt to dismiss out of the water.

You are known for your attempts to dismiss violence against women you disagree with.

And trying to say it is a common used line is just like saying women having cream pies to the face from extremist activists is just like comedy.

Still dismissing violence against women.

raspberrywine · 16/04/2023 08:41

Saying let's give a big NZ welcome" can pass as a joke.

Not when it's accompanied by a pic of KJK being led out by the police after she was assaulted. Clear incitement to violence. Everyone who knows what happened in NZ knows exactly what this tweet means.

And the arrogance of SW to tell people to retweet it.

The breathless sex thread:

I don't think I can make myself read that thread, Clymene. Not until after copious amounts of coffee.

Sorry, bit early in the day I agree!

Datun · 16/04/2023 08:46

The 'welcome' afforded KJK and the NZ women she was supporting was entirely characterised by the rabid and unhinged TRA violence towards them.

Whittle fondly imagining they can gaslight, well, everyone, that they, a furious TRA, were referring to something entirely different is more risible self delusion.

I think we should be talking about Graham's threat to kill, rather than a rather vague "New Zealand welcome" tweet.

Off you pop and start your own thread about the thing that interests you

Wasn't he wanting some form of Father Ted reboot or musical? His reputation was already a bit rocky but I think he's blown it with this.

Big Steph - is that you?

Abhannmor · 16/04/2023 09:23

Surely ' I'm gonna kill em tomorrow ' is just showbiz banter.
Like ' break a leg' !
That nutbag who attacked KJK puts the word 'Slay!' at the end of her tweets but gets a pass?

His.

KalimbaMoon · 16/04/2023 09:27

I read Glinner’s tweet as a mocking impression of Whittle’s tweet about the NZ “welcome” for KJK. “Durrrrr I’m gonna kill them” - I didn’t see that as meaning he, Glinner, was going to kill people. He was mocking Whittle’s incitement to violence.

Rightsraptor · 16/04/2023 09:32

Where is Glinner's post dropping? I'm not on Twitter, he seems to be banned again from what you all say, and I subscribe to his Substack but can't see anything there.

That tweet that caused the ban absolutely does not read as though Glinner wrote it: just not his style at all.

Not sure. I'm waiting to hear something too!

I was pleased to see Julie Bindel calling this out too, despite her differences with KJK.

Whittle frequently brags about being able to privately influence Bindel due to a decades old friendship.

AlisonDonut · 16/04/2023 09:38

I've just had the email.

I wonder if that pisses Bindel off. TBF to Bindel she has called out the violence and violent rhetoric against KJK before.
