I think we should be talking about Graham's threat to kill, rather than a rather vague "New Zealand welcome" tweet.

Why? The New Zealand police said KJK was lucky to be alive and we know a 70 year old woman was assaulted by being repeatedly punched. A single punch can kill. Whittle new what happened in New Zealand and was advocating a repeat of that. Why should we ignore that?

Paraphrasing the quoted tweet is exactly what I was thinking. Glinner doesn't use bad spelling and grammar like that seriously, more likely to be a mocking paraphrase of the quoted URL.

"NZ welcome" as I said is a bit vague and jokey but a threat to kill is a threat to kill, and I'm sure the police have a protocol to investigate all such threats.

I was actually really shocked Prof Whittle would tweet that.

When someone of their stature in the trans movement tweets something like that you just know they're running scared. I met Whittle once about 30 years ago, so quiet, so serious, it turned out so bloody dangerous.

I hope they're shocked at the reaction to that awful tweet and that there's some repercussions.

Should never be involved in any meaningful discussions again ever. They've got an OBE ffs.
