Not to derail but Sitt, it's not just men, though. It looked and sounded to me like the loudest were women. I've stopped thinking of them as handmaidens, and started thinking of them as footsoldiers. The kind who enlist through patriotic zeal.
There are plenty of female Generals, too. Susie Green, Nancy Kelly, Ruth Hunt, Stephen Whittle, various MPs and HoL members, Chase Strangio and Jeanette Jennings in America, and all the youtubers who have cut their breasts off and make videos telling girls how cool it is, and on and on and on.
Men and women have different motivations for opposing women's rights, but we can't pretend that there's not an awful lot of women who are (a huge) part of the problem.
