The murderer who came in and killed 3 children and 3 adults is trans and called Audrey, I am confused as to their biological sex.

And again, what the fuck? Where's the evidence?

Good question where’s the evidence? Oh yes, there isn’t any because nobody has bothered to collect any data on how medicating a female person, over a long period, with testosterone affects their mood and their behaviour.

Where's the evidence this woman was even on testosterone!?

Their gender assigned at birth and the gender they identify with are completely irrelevant. Why is their sex of any concern to you? Your concern should be more at the fact there is yet another mass school shooting, and the highest source of child death in the US is from gun crime.

To my knowledge, out of all the school shootings, this is the first trans person. Nobody harped on about all the other shooters being male.

It is tiresome how many people here seem focused on what was inside the shooter's pants, rather than the fact a shooting took place.

Seriously? I was hoping that quarter wit TRAs would not post on this thread and yet...here we are. 🙄

AllOfThemWitches · 29/03/2023 08:45

I mean, if putting testosterone into a female body causes them to commit mass murder, it should definitely be banned. Is this happening a lot?

Signalbox · 29/03/2023 08:45

AllOfThemWitches · 29/03/2023 08:35

And possibly poisoned with testosterone in her female body to a point of rage, a suicidal state and psychosis.

And again, what the fuck? Where's the evidence? And even if it was the case, she was 28 years old, she would have made the choice to 'poison' herself. You make it sound as though she was not responsible for her actions.

She will not be held accountable for her actions because she is dead. Presumably that was her plan so she got exactly what she wanted didn’t she?

Being held accountable is not the same as being responsible for though.

Another good point. I’ve not seen any confirmation that she’s been medicated with testosterone. But the point still stands that we don’t know how testosterone effects female behaviour because nobody is collecting the data.

Of the four mass shootings in the US where women were shooters, 2 of the 4 women shooters were transmen. I'd say it's time to research if testosterone injections played a role in their behavior as it's very rare for women to commit mass violence. Anytime a shooter is on an untested medication, there should be questions asked.

No those 2 things are not the same. I didn’t say that they were though so not sure why you are quoting me.

Katypi No one is interested in your stupid cliche about ‘what’s in her pants’.

98% crimes are committed by men. (No need to look in pants). This normally male, tragic massacre of children and their teachers would not normally be something a woman does. Why is this different?
That is what people are wondering.

As for your phrase about it being ‘tiresome’ that people are focussed onn’what’s in her pants’,
it is trans ideology activism that messes with troubled people’s minds about what is in their own pants.

It is ‘trans affirming care’ that messes literally with what is in their pants - through wrecking their endocrine system.

Testosterone may well also be wrecking some female’s minds too.

Since 2013, there have been 101 incidents where there was a female shooter out of 4,025 mass shootings, said Mark Bryant, executive director of the Gun Violence Archive.

It's extremely rare but not unheard of. Would you assume the majority of these women/girls were on testosterone?

So 10 female mass shooters each year over the last 10 years? That doesn’t sound right to me. And if it’s true it’s not rare is it?

Forbes say only 4 females since 1966.

Before Monday’s shooting, there had only been four women assailants in 172 mass shootings in the U.S., as documented by The Violence Project since 1966, which documents shootings involving at least four fatalities, not including the shooter.

It's hard to believe anyone can be quite this stupid.

No. But given what we know of how badly the female body and metabolism is understood and combined with recent events, I would check the testosterone levels of those women. But correlation is not causation and more research would be required to eliminate underlying, misdiagnosed physiology.
This should be for everyone.

Searching for clues is not sexist. Assuming we know the answers is.

Ultimately, the individuals are responsible for their actions but understanding what led to it and acting on that understanding can reduce the potential for this atrocity to recur.

There's too much "if it isn't this, it must be that" going on. Society as a whole does seem rather unhealthy at the moment.

Testosterone injections given to females, not natural is it. Perhaps the mental health of an individual should be screened rather than affirming the wrong body. During puberty maybe individuals feel like they don't fit in, changing gender isn't the answer though.

I suspect that nobody has been allowed to collect any data . . .

RoyalCorgi · 29/03/2023 09:59

I'm slightly sceptical about the testosterone angle, though am open to changing my mind if research shows otherwise. I think the more likely truth is that young women identifying as trans are often mentally troubled with a history of trauma. The same root cause (mental health problems) leads both to the trans identification and the mass shooting. I may be wrong.

This comes from the Gun Violence Archive, i didn't make the figure up. And 101 out of 4025, I'd say that was rare.

Your hypothesis seems reasonable to me, but a Swedish study showed that females on testosterone were significantly more likely to commit violent crime than women who were not. And testosterone is known to increase aggression.

I think the discrepancy in your figures arises from the fact that one of those sources counts shooters and the other counts shooters who killed more than four people? Iirc. I may not have got that right.

Am I being thick or does the facebook page link provided not actually mention the 101/4025 statistics quoted? Has anybody got another source?

Slothtoes · 29/03/2023 10:27

for all those affected. Flowers

We all know that small, naturally-occurring changes in naturally produced hormones can make people behave and feel very differently. If they’re already struggling with things, then it’s a reasonable question to ask if that’s going to be even harder for them to deal with at much higher doses.

That makes sense Bella. Allofthemwitches post refers to mass shootings though so I wonder how that source is defining “mass” shooter?
