Let's hit the state sanctioned violence against women where it hurts - in their pockets.

Off the top of my head:

Wine - Oyster Bay, Villa Maria, the Ned, Wairau Cove, Brancott Eatate, Cloudy Bay
Lamb - check the label to make sure it's British
Manuka honey and ordinary honey - M&S stock quite a few.
Wool
Allbirds shoes
Canterbury clothing.

Have I missed anything?

Also write to the PM: [email protected]
Minister for trade: [email protected]

And tell them you're boycotting and why. There's no point if they don't know you're doing it!

Absolutely incredible, isn’t it?

The push-back is looking increasingly desperate. But I am so cynical now, that I think it will probably work.

Nonetheless, the conversation about this is happening, and I just know that outside MSM, people are starting to ask questions.

Helleofabore · 02/04/2023 10:02

So they are gaslighting as usual?

They are saying it didn’t happen, just like males with trans identities don’t commit sex crime and violence at at least the same rate as all males. Or like people can actually change sex. Or that there is no evidence of male advantage after testosterone reduced in sport.

Can’t say I am surprised. Most Mainstream media has already been heavily invested in this in some degree.

Whaeanui · 02/04/2023 10:12

Under their tweets sharing the stories, RNZ & Mediawatch, nobody is agreeing with them at all. There are replies with that drone footage clearly showing the opposite of what they’re claiming.

Controversial broadcaster Sean Plunket has been suspended from Twitter.

Screenshots circulating Twitter appear to show the suspension is due to his breaking the "hateful conduct rule".

On Facebook, Plunket posted his own screenshot along with the message: "Just got suspended from Twitter. Another victory for free speech."

He would not comment further to Newshub when contacted.

Whaeanui · 03/04/2023 08:05

NZ PM Chris Hipkins was just asked by Sean Plunket how he would define a woman, following from Kier Starmer and his response some women have a penis. You can see a NZ woman share the moment here. Note when Mr Hipkins shared his press conference on Facebook he cut this question out 😬

My god im embarrassed for my country. Now our PM cant even say what a woman is? !

RosaBonheur · 03/04/2023 11:39

Don't feel bad, the next prime minister of the UK can't say what one is either.

Whaeanui · 03/04/2023 12:07

Not sure who reported Sean Plunket or what he was banned for, he hasn’t said, was it because he said a man can’t be a woman? I don’t know but this account is very gleeful about it and seems to claim he made violent threats?

If he wins

If he does it won’t be on my vote

Well that person seems to have a fascination with Sean Plunket.

Whaeanui · 03/04/2023 12:33

And Posie, the guys obsessed. He was one of the ‘counter protestors’ who applauded the violence that led to Posie fleeing. Revolting person.

Helleofabore · 03/04/2023 12:40

How interesting. A keen interest in Kellie Jay AND the protest AND Sean Plunket. .... almost like that twitter profile is a misogynist who cannot allow women to speak .....

Whaeanui · 03/04/2023 12:55

That would be my take. Seemed very excited by the violence against women there.

IcakethereforeIam · 24/04/2023 12:59

I just wanted to post this somewhere but I didn't think he deserved his own thread. I noticed a picture of a very homely 'woman' while looking for something else. Tbf to Bronwyn he started identifying as a woman in the 90s, perhaps around the time he committed murder, before the current trans craze. The articles in the NZ Herald seem truncated and at least one fails to mention anything about his trans identity at all, you'd be forgive for believing he actually was female. I'm not sure what prison (male or female) he's going to.

The link below is through a terfy NZ twitter account, I think they'd enjoy the traffic.

Ah NZ has never been safe. I remember we had an option of a library security guy escorting us to our car after hours at Uni. The issue is that’s nobody around, ever. I never understood why NZ was so
generally menacing. There is no reason to be so menacing. It’s safer in London I feel, there is always someone around.

Whaeanui · 24/04/2023 13:24

@Sdgrth yes I agree having lived in remote NZ towns, the two bigger cities and in London. London feels safer because there’s always people around.

I know! And that’s living in Hamilton and Auckland for 8 years. There is always a fight. I never got it. But on the other hand it’s equally beautiful and safe place. Especially the good parts of Auckland. Hamilton…not so much!

Whaeanui · 24/04/2023 13:45

@Sdgrth oh yes Hamilton is quite dangerous. That’s where that all black Sevu Reece was when he chased and beat his girlfriend on the street. My DH used to live there!
