Can you explain then for people who aren't? Not trying to be funny but as an "outsider" it would be nice to understand what the issue is.

Daniel Radcliffe has been somewhat unsupportive of JK Rowling, the woman whose incredible body of work made him a multimillionaire while he was still in his early teens, and gave him the platform to further his acting career, over her advocacy of the rights of women and girls he's such a feminist.

Daniel Radcliffe says he believes trans women are women. He doesn't seem to think sex is immutable. It therefore doesn't seem such a stretch that he believes he could become pregnant. As per the headline.

Sorry if I have confused you, and I understand that the BBC are going with the more famous half of the couple.

But frankly the male contribution to the whole pregnancy thing is fairly effortless in comparison. And yet she is completely erased in that headline.

That's the point I was trying to make, albeit ina circuitous and amusing way. Clearly I failed. I'll get my goat.

I'm as terfy as they come but the headline is correct. Pregnant is a biological state, expecting is a mental one. He IS expecting a baby. I'm expecting to go to a farm in an hour...

”Expecting first child to be taken from its mother as part of surrogacy arrangement within minutes of its birth.”

So just because he disagreed with your trans views he is not allowed to have a child? 'expecting' doesn't mean pregnant..it is a really poor choice of battle to pick.

It's just an example of his rank hypocrisy. He apparently knows enough about biology to work out how to be a dad, yet can't see the difference between a trans woman and a woman.
