Let’s move the general discussion about the New Zealand ‘Let Women Speak’ tour out of the thread set up to centre the women speaking at the Australian and New Zealand tours.

This was the live feed.

https://www.youtube.com/live/eDuy2Kx2HlI?feature=share

The event was over run by violent trans activists. Not only did they use the usual intimidation tactics, but also threw substances at Kellie Jay, the women and the security.

New Zealand the Iran of the west

The footage from this has the potential to royally screw their tourism industry what woman would decide to visit the country for a holiday! its currently right up there as a destination not to visit as a woman.

NZ tourism board has a new strapline:

New Zealand - proudly misogynistic

They locked the borders during the pandemic also.

*Ah yes, more important to be left wing than actually want to protect women's and children's rights.

I recall having a heated debate on social media with a very well known, intelligent feminist who I greatly admire and who is impressively articulate - she told me that I could not be a feminist because I am not left wing.*

The left seem to become more and more intolerant of anything that is also not left. Since when is feminism only for left minded people? What ever happened to feminism is for all women, regardless of race, age, politics or religion? So women who are not left or left enough don't deserve sex based rights? No wonder most women don't call themselves feminists...

I feel I can't call myself a feminist as I don't tick all the boxes. I felt alienated by 'real' feminist. KJK's message resonated with me and made me feel I could still play a part in women's rights activism.

MalagaNights · 25/03/2023 15:04

I'm am so bloody angry I don't know what to do with it.
I've decided today I'm going to the next SFW event. I'm going to turn up in solidarity with Posie to show they can't shut her up because they can't shut all of us up.

I've never been to one of her events before, they didn't feel for me.
But I'm going now. And I hope lots of women feel the same, and we'll turn out in numbers for her, and this will be a real moment of solidarity for women.

I'm so fucking livid this has happened in a western 'liberal' country. Men stopping women speaking.
No.

Justnot · 25/03/2023 15:07

Not sure if it’s been said elsewhere but obviously lots of left wing feminist like myself are gender critical and don’t support the posters excusing male violence etc, I am sitting here fuming like everyone else, thankful for all the amazing women standing up to the bullshit

Whaeanui · 25/03/2023 15:12

They locked the borders during the pandemic also

This meant that over 150 NZ women, female citizens, had to give birth somewhere overseas. They did not get special exemptions to return to have their babies. However, they did make exemptions for American and British movie companies and all the stars and their staff. I won’t watch any films made there under those circumstances.

LittleFingerStrength · 25/03/2023 15:15

They also went after Neville's Grandmother too. How dare people speak or publish the truth, the lows people will sink to, going after family!

For me, this is KJKs success. I’m not clever enough to be an academic feminist and I trip over all the language so I’m just made to feel dumb. Posie gave me a voice I could use, in my real life, and I’m peaking people everywhere. This weekends misogynist gluttony feast is the rancid cherry on a rotten cake, which they are welcome to, unlike my rights.

I've never been to one of her events before nor me, but I was actually goaded to by a prolific anti women MN poster taking the piss, I just thought - actually fuck you.
I went on my own (with a bag packed for either being assaulted or arrested) and met some awesome women, and met KJK, and I am so glad I did. Those women who talk deserve us at least (trying to) turn up to listen.

MishyJDI · 25/03/2023 15:20

As far as I can observe, it was a woman that poured the soup over Posie.

What a crazy day. Come from a position of fear, and not tolerance, and you do unearth some powerful forces that you may not actually like.

Sad days indeed. At least KJK reaffirmed she ain't a feminist.

This tour will stick with her when she is back in the UK. Not sure its been a success. Hopefully more rational voices will take back centre stage. That we can all cheer for.

nilsmousehammer · 25/03/2023 15:24

How do you know it was a woman? 🤔

And are you really saying women should not speak in case of making other people turn into crazed, violent, misogynist thugs? If women were naice other people wouldn't have to go completely batshit?

I think KJK's played a blinder. The whole world has just seen what women have been talking about for years.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't see it: https://aboldwoman.substack.com/p/trans-activists-make-women-terrified

It's a first person account from a woman who was there. I cannot imagine how terrifying it must have been

Justnot · 25/03/2023 15:29

Most minimising comment of the day prize to above poster I can’t even be bothered to name - the fucking hypocrisy, must have whiplash

It was a violent male.

Oh! Dismissing violence against women again are you?

Just water! just a cream pie! Just soup!

Many of us here are lefty or left of center and all (apart from the ploppers) are passionate about women's rights, the issue is not left wing feminsts but a tiny group of left wing feminists who think they are the only real feminsts. Apologies if I haven't made that distinction clear in any of my posts.

Justnot · 25/03/2023 15:35

Up in arms about the senator throwing herself around like a toddler but don’t give a shit about a mob of men attacking women

Justnot · 25/03/2023 15:39

FOJN I love your posts so not feeling personally attacked but just wanted to say where I’m coming from - I haven’t read any of the right books, was just born this way so get where you are coming from
