I can’t believe the misogyny and hostility towards women.

Few bullet points, unedited video links - it's a forum, not a bloody school lesson with homework 😁
What's that saying people like using?
No do it yourself I'm not your support human 😁
Cos you know if I did all that, you'd be back with yeah but no but lol

Which is fine, but then expect people to dismiss your views as bollocks

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/03/2023 12:16

What an absolute mess your ideas are. Do you not see the same ludicrousness for anyone to suggest you’re pro paedo and you suggesting women are aligning themselves with Nazis?

Yes, I'm not sure their knee jerking allows that level of cognitive processing before speaking.

I denounce the actions and have not connection with the National Socialist Network! (just to be absolutely clear because it seems that this now needs to be done every time a woman speaks)

Actually, this is fucking serious.

You are here are you are trying to establish connections between feminists and a Neo nazi group, the National Socialist Network.

You have provided nothing to support this yet are perpetuating it. Not one thing. Just faulty logic that you cannot acknowledge is the result of your own logic on this thread.

suggestionsplease1 · 22/03/2023 12:10

If there was a rally about lesbians, some people pro lesbian rights, some people anti lesbian rights, and some neo Nazis turned up with a sign saying 'DESTROY PEADO FREAKS' - would you consider this a problem or not?

I wouldn’t like it

but I would consider it to put no reflection on any of the other attendees

really, it’s not hard unless you believe women are always responsible for the actions of others

HipTightOnions · 22/03/2023 12:18

"Views", apparently, Bernard.

And I think we are supposed to "do it ourselves" to understand what they are.

I denounce the actions and have not connection with the National Socialist Network!

Please explain in detail what views and rhetoric of KJK are appealing to Neo nazis?

And please stop deflecting. If you cannot be specific, why should anyone believe your blanket statements?

She hates trans people.

StandUpAgainstIt · 22/03/2023 12:19

Something failed here. They should never have been allowed to be anywhere near feminists, socialists or trans people. And yet, they were. Why?"

This is the absolutely thecrux of it I feel @Helleofabore - we shouldn't have to rely on women speaking up to feel more reassured of our safety! I would urge anyone attending Saturday to email GMP in advance (and obviously the same for any other locations for public meetings) asking their plans to safeguard women, to draw attention to their responsibilities and perception of their role (not that they give a fuck normally )

I only just wanted to say that a lot of Jewish women are even more scared and reluctant to attend based on recent events, and really appreciate anyone speaking out in their presence as well as afterwards. I absolutely fully understand women have lots of absolutely understandable personal reasons for their fear of denouncing in public and would never judge them negatively.

But if women do feel able to speak up, it is so appreciated. Being a woman is risky and scary enough already at these events but being a woman wearing a Star of David...it actually is terrifying but we have to be seen.

Helleofabore · 22/03/2023 12:19

Jujuj · 22/03/2023 12:05

Oh please, what they wrote on the signs is irrelevant. Anti peado is something most people are.

Yes. Most people.

So apart from protecting children from paedophiles, what other beliefs do feminists and the National Socialist Network share that again the majority of the population share.

Oh. by the way I denounce the actions and have not connection with the National Socialist Network!

Just didn’t want to fail to acknowledge the excellent points you’ve made regarding the actual antisemitism of these actual revolting people

CremeEggQueen · 22/03/2023 12:07

Seriously?!
Try reading the thread.

I have read the whole thread. You've been asked around six times to clarify what these views are that KJK holds that the Nazis were supportive of. Would you mind, if it isn't too much trouble, please clarifying? That would genuinely be helpful.

I don’t think i’d call KJK feminist actually. Just anti trans.

StandUpAgainstIt · 22/03/2023 12:21

Lindt eggs are actually nicer than crème eggs btw. Just saying. I've gone right off them after this thread!

More expensive though I know!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/03/2023 12:21

This thread is giving me very negative associations with crème eggs 😢

but because some neo nazi’s turned up to a meeting I definitely now believe that some men are women, men belong in women’s prisons and women shouldn’t be allowed to publicly state their opinions on this matter

oh hang on, no I don’t. And anyone whose mind was changed on these matters by some unpleasant opportunistic men seeing a publicity opportunity would be an absolute twerp

Creme Eggs are awful now since US companies ruined cadburys.

And yes to all this.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 22/03/2023 12:22

Jujuj · 22/03/2023 12:18

I think we need a bit more than this you silly sausage!

do you never have to do any persuasive writing at all?

The problem with the sign in that context is that it is promoting an association of trans people (or lesbians in my scenario) with paedophilia, isn't it?

But we do know, from the rhetoric of her many videos, that Posie Parker is quite happy to make this unfounded association. So no wonder these people felt quite at home at her speech.

Fortunately Posie also describes herself as not a feminist. So there should be allowable distancing all around!

StandUpAgainstIt · 22/03/2023 12:24

I feel like wearing a balaclava myself as a man spat in my face once (close up) for being a Jewish. Maybe we should wear balaclavas with the Star of David on. This years fashion accessory, more stylish than fucking ninjas in nappies.

Our local synagogue has security guards btw, which a lot of people find shocking if they aren't aware.

I'm waiting for the waaaah you're all Nazis posters, to square the circle of a Jewish GC woman. What a headfuck.

StandUpAgainstIt · 22/03/2023 12:24

OMG "being a Jewish" obvs a typo, sorry!

If there was a rally about lesbians, some people pro lesbian rights, some people anti lesbian rights, and some neo Nazis turned up with a sign saying 'DESTROY PEADO FREAKS' - would you consider this a problem or not?

This is a trick question, because we all know a group of lesbians is not allowed to congregate in a rally to advocate for lesbian rights, because that’s transphobic!

It’s funny how you want to apply a theoretical example of what would happen if Nazis turned up to where lesbians were protesting, when there have been numerous examples of lesbians protesting and being abused by TRAs, as if Nazis with theoretical signs insinuating lesbians are paedophiles is different to the rampant homophobic abuse lesbians have suffered at events that have actually happened.

I just assumed you all knew that that’s how she appears to a lot of people? I’m not trying to persuade you of anything, it’s just my perspective. I think she’s anti-feminist (and harmful to it) & anti-trans.

It is good advice to check. If you go, I hope you enjoy the screening.

I understand how scared and reluctant women are to attend. Just as you pointed out, I also understand that not attending feels like you are giving in. But you can only ever do what you think is right for you and to keep you safe. I never expected to be standing hand in hand with women at an event. And the things that were being yelled at us felt surreal. So much of it was not even what we are working towards or what we believe.

Just like the poster who mistakenly thinks that supporting trans rights relies only on acceptable of male being called women in situations where it impacts on all female sex based rights, even the rights needed by female trans people. It all seems to be because of misinformation being spread.

And as you say, just us repeatedly refuting the misinformation doesn't seem to be working.

If you go, I will be thinking of you.

Jujuj · 22/03/2023 12:05

Oh please, what they wrote on the signs is irrelevant. Anti peado is something most people are.

It's the case that whatever anyone says only your opinions of them count? You can ascribe any motivation to anyone at any time?

Well the same goes for you. If you object to people with anti peado signs that makes you pro peado.

See, how this works?
