Sorry if there's already a thread - apparently this nightmarish-sounding company offering a hellish-sounding job don't want the likes of FWR posters to apply. Also they don't seem to understand discrimination law.

I'd rather remove my own eyes with a pastry fork than receive voice notes from Beks and Maisie.

NurseCranesRolodex · 18/03/2023 17:28

How Terfphobic. I'm with pp and the pastry fork to eyeballs 😂👀.

KalimbaMoon · 18/03/2023 17:29

I saw this on Twitter and was really shocked by it. I think that would rule out many of us on this board. How do they define Terf? Is it transphobic to not believe it’s possible to change sex? No - gender-critical is a protected belief. Is it Terfy to care about women’s rights and to not want children to be medicated unnecessarily? Course not, but I guess to them it would be classed as literal hate. I despair. I’d never want to work there! Shudder.

HelloWorldMessage · 18/03/2023 17:29

I'd genuinely rather be unemployed than work for such a company!

Chief Visionary Officer - what utter tosh!

QuintanaRoo · 18/03/2023 17:31

Putting the terf thing aside……Maisie sounds like the most tedious navel gazing idiot to work for. What a lot of ridiculous cliches along with employer red flags in that advert. Think I’d dodge a bullet by being discriminated against by them. 😀

QuintanaRoo · 18/03/2023 17:32

We get shit done without burning ourselves out.
you must hold absolute respect for Masies intellectual property

wtf

do people actually think and talk like this? Sounds like something a 14yo would write.

TwistandSprout · 18/03/2023 17:36

Yes, I thought that too.

waterlego · 18/03/2023 17:37

Maisie sounds like a right nuisance.

RedCarsGoFaster · 18/03/2023 17:49

Sound horrific even without the trans bullshit. 30hrs per month, basically on call 24/7, having to state your rising star sign in the application (🙄), and the third person word salad about "Maisie"?

Hope they get sued.

FOJN · 18/03/2023 17:50

Apparently they work with a DEI expert to continually assess and improve DEI within the business. I would expect such an expert to understand the basics of equality law. Perhaps Maisie will ask for a refund.

Maisie has a fierce belief in herself..... I'll bet she does.

nothingcomestonothing · 18/03/2023 17:53

Maisie has a fierce belief in herself

But apparently not in reality or the law!

quiteathome · 18/03/2023 17:53

Who is Maisie Hill?

Saucery · 18/03/2023 17:55

£20,000 to talk about your period for 6 months? Sounds an absolute steal Grin

nothingcomestonothing · 18/03/2023 17:56

Who is Maisie Hill?

Apparently a periods expert who believes TWAW Confused

OP posts:
Somebodiesmother · 18/03/2023 17:58

Maisie can sort her own bloody personal life out!

Pixiedust1234 · 18/03/2023 17:58

Managing Maisie’s calendar, ensuring it’s kept spacious.

I couldn't get past this. What a self absorbed, lazy, arse 😂😂😂

GrimDamnFanjo · 18/03/2023 18:00

I too read this on twitter.
Funniest thing for ages. I bet the organisation is a nightmare. Looking at the accounts I think it's a vanity business...

Somebodiesmother · 18/03/2023 18:01

Maisie is so very obviously one of those women who talk a good game about mindfulness and kindness but who are actually a seething ball of passive aggressive rage just under the surface.

Twwodoorsaway · 18/03/2023 18:02

I notice she offers 6 months of weekly one to one coaching. For the bargain price of….£20k!

Blimey that takes some self belief. And some idiot who is easily parted from their money.

quiteathome · 18/03/2023 18:02

Oh. I will take period advice from someone who knows about who has periods.

EarringsandLipstick · 18/03/2023 18:03

They've already edited the ad to remove the 'this job is not for you if ...' part.

Apart altogether from the 'TERF' nonsense, the line about 'if you want to run your own business, this isn't for you ... we are looking for an intrapaneur'. Give me strength.

It's like language is an invention for these morons.

TheSimpleRidcully · 18/03/2023 18:04

I listened to half her book.

It was shit.

Pixiedust1234 · 18/03/2023 18:05

They seem to want a lot from the applicant, especially since they expect weekend work too.

This is a contractor role, working approximately 30 hours per month

KatMcBundleFace · 18/03/2023 18:06

www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2023/03/16/author-20k-life-coach-bans-terfs-applying-personal-assistant/

I have rather enjoyed the fall out from this......

OnTheThames · 18/03/2023 18:07

Maisie sounds like an angry diva and the job sounds hellish.

No, ta.
