Apologies, my post is very vague. It's regarding Kitchen Aid hiring Dylan Mulvaney to promote their new product during Women's Month.

I hadn't heard of that company, as i'm in the UK. It must be a bit like us referring to Curry's, i imagine.

KitchenAid is a huge brand in the UK - have you never watched Bake Off or ventured into John Lewis?

KitchenAid virtue signalling their “inclusiveness” during Women’s Month can fuck right off.

There’s a racehorse called Overpriced Mixer. I guess they couldn’t call him KitchenAid.

I can't speak about the, ever popular, free standing mixer but my kitchen aid food processor is rubbish.

When did kitchen appliances become so gendered it's necessary to use a TW to promote them. FFS

I gave mine to Dd which is good really since she is in to all this and won't speak to me as I'm a horrid old TERF.

Never seen it, never been in one, we don't have a J. Lewis where i live.
I sort of get the feeling that it's probably like a middle class purveyor of fine tat at needlessly high prices, a bit like M&S, whereas, i'm more your common or garden ASDA or Morrisons type of girl, do you see?

Fascinating mixture of comments on that! Seems to be a fairly even split of "you go gurrrrl, you've made it" and "that's me boycotting KitchenAid" types.

Kenwoods are better value anyway.

I was going to buy each of my three daughters KitchinAid food processors for Easter, thanks for the heads up I'll now be getting them Magimix instead.

I love my Kitchen Aid mixer - I’ve had it for 20 years and it’s just as wonderful as the day I bought it. This really disappoints me and ruins the brand. I don’t know why they would do this.

I won’t be throwing it out but I was thinking of replacing it with a new one (blossom with the copper bowl) and though it pains me because I really love it, I won’t be now.

Disappointed me too, can’t look at mine the same anymore 😡

I can really vouch for the quality of Kenwood/KMix over KitchenAid - not quite as pretty but Kenwood have far stronger motors and reliably outlive and outperform KitchenAid products. This used to annoy me because KitchenAid so iconic, but now I'm quite happy!

Really disappointed. As pp, I was going to get a Kitchen Aid mixer - their customer service was outstanding on a coffee machine a friend had. Not now though, so v happy to hear the Kenwood is better, and that’s where my money will be going!

I have a Kenwood and I'm sure it'll outlive me, it's just excellent and has loads of attachments like food processor and blender.
Kitchen aid can do one.

I'm glad I have a Kenwood. The only way to stop this shit happening is to hit them in the pocket.

I'm still baffled though. Do they do focus groups where they have groups of women saying they'd find Mulvaney a better brand ambassador than Jennifer Garner? (picked Garner because I know she bakes). It's so odd.

I need to speak to my mum, I don't even get an egg at easter these days!
Seriously tho I've always wanted one but not now, another company to boycott. Soon I will have nowhere to shop!
