Most stupid centring of men on national women's day

What's the most stupid centring of men you've seen on national women's day. This particularly annoyed me as it is literally centering men with both the messaging and the framing of the male individual.

I haven't got the guts to tell the person that posted it on social media they're an idiot, so will have to content myself with venting here.

It's particularly depressing because she's a bloody teacher and supposedly an intelligent person.

My nomination is a big employer which invited two men (not trans women - or trans men - just men-identified men) as its in-house IWD speakers today.

When someone senior (not me) questioned this decision, the EDI team stood their ground and claimed there is "research" to show the best way to promote "gender equality" is for men to do it. Um... Citation needed?

That's an actual punchline to a joke Dave Chapelle makes about how he should be in charge of the women's movement!!

Explain to me @ElonsMusky why it's ok to self ID as a woman but if I were to walk out in public with black face saying I identify as a black woman, I'd be lynched? It's all about the men that 'feel' they are women. But biologically they aren't and will never be just like if I 'feel' like a giraffe I won't actually be one.

I am on board with this. I would like to see trans women being respectful towards women. A very welcome sentiment.
