What's the most stupid centring of men you've seen on national women's day. This particularly annoyed me as it is literally centering men with both the messaging and the framing of the male individual.

I haven't got the guts to tell the person that posted it on social media they're an idiot, so will have to content myself with venting here.

It's particularly depressing because she's a bloody teacher and supposedly an intelligent person.

That, and it is so ground breaking and important that @ElonsMusky would be outed IRL so, for national security reasons, it will have to go.

I'm glad someone started this thread. In the company that I work for- the IWD blog had 5 women being celebrated- 3 with penises and 2 with vulvas (all women-)

Yes. We don't know why Brianna was killed. In any event I thought that list was about violence by men against women? Even if she was killed because she was mistakenly thought to be a woman, wasn't she killed by a boy and girl? It is a different sort of case entirely, even leaving out the possible trans motive.

I'm a woman. Tell me how you're going to respect women's needs. Tell me that you're aware of how you currently prevent women being safe, respected and valued.
And stop letting your male peers make it all about them, just because they wear a dress.

They is a new one for me.

I have a mere BSc hons in Anatomy and quite often feel very underqualified on these threads. It has been coughty-cough years since I graduated, so I'd be very glad to read of any new developments in sexy science.
But alas despite a promising trailer, @ElonsMusky , so far there are none delivered.
You know what they say "science talks and bullshit walks".

So weird that trans women tend to get central roles in various women's organisations and women's
issues rather fast, are over-represented in top positions in feminist orgs compared to their population numbers etc., while trans men tend not to get much publicity at all (unless they give birth).

And then we now have womxn but we don't have mxn, and we have 'non-men' but not 'non-women'. Everyone can get a slice of the women category.

The more things change the more they stay the same. It's also clear in how women are now replaced by body functions (menstruators, birthers) or body parts (uterus-owners, individuals with cervix, vulva folk), while men are not replaced the same way (no ejaculators or impregnators, no penis-havers).

It is all wildly sexist.

The sexism makes it not weird at all. They've become VIP males with double the privilege, and this movement snatch and grabs whatever it wants and breaks it down for parts without the faintest conscience.

True. It was not pleasant to realise this, but the resistance is growing because people are realising this.

I read that and feel the urge to say
