Caba Baba Rave - take your baby to watch nearly naked men in fetish gear

Journalist Dominique Samuels has posted video of one of their events: https://twitter.com/dominiquetaegon/status/1630948003962912768?s=61&t=gd6tu0Iz6JpyKXGLWMLGjg

Which features men gyrating and hanging from the ceiling surrounded by a crowd of clueless women and their babies.

I would say it's NSFW but it's apparently safe for babies so have a watch.

Here's a reddux article:

https://reduxx.info/uk-sold-out-rave-for-babies-featuring-drag-queens-prompts-outrage/

Since the video went viral, the company has taken down its website and Facebook and made their Instagram private. I wonder why? Confused

I do not consider drag to always be sexualised and not a fetish, so its a non point for me. shrug

As Drag Queens are literally a sexualised performance by a female impersonator with exaggerated sexual characteristics that is an odd claim.

Are we now playing the game that if we put the label ‘drag’ onto anything it immediately becomes absolutely fine for children?

So - drag strippers, drag twerking, drag porn - that sort of thing?

Is there literally anything that you would deem unsuitable for children or is it all fair game?

Helleofabore · 02/03/2023 12:30

Does attending this event mean that those attendees can call themselves 'spicy straights' and part of the Q?

I think I know the answer to this.

AlisonDonut · 02/03/2023 10:13

The thing that everyone completely misses, is that the babies are not the audience.

They are the show.

I think there's something to this.

The combination of alcohol and drag seems like a girl's night out. The addition of babies makes no sense. Who takes a baby on a night out?

Would it be just as fine for men to take a babies to a boxing match and have a few pints watching the boxing ringside while balancing the baby on thier lap?
Or men out in a strip club geting boozed up while paying strippers for private dancers with a baby on their lap?

double shrug

You can double shrug in bold, too. We can still see it.

Helleofabore · 02/03/2023 12:12

Just because YOU don't consider drag sexualised and YOU don't consider it a fetish, clearly there is sexualised content at these events and that is not just 'drag'.

Answer the question or not. It actually doesn't matter. Readers will be able to make up their own minds as to whether you understand the ramifications or not from what you have posted and your evasive answer.

I think they will also make their own decisions about your statement:

"I can only imagine the type of utter wanker who complains about it."

I say crack on. Because it is a great live demonstration of the type of dismissal by people who think that children should have their sexual boundaries lowered. It shows a great live demonstration of a person who cannot clearly recognise adult sexual behaviour as well.

If complaining about child sex abuse makes me an utter wanker, then all I have to say is:

I'M A PROUD UTTER WANKER 🏆

So part of their defence is that there's parent and baby cinema?

I've got news for them: www.express.co.uk/news/uk/470155/No-sex-please-we-re-babies-Cinema-bans-15-certificate-matinees

Helleofabore · 02/03/2023 12:35

Datun · 02/03/2023 12:30

Mate, we can all see the bloke with his legs open wearing a thong. You trying to pretend
that everyone else is blind, doesn't really work, I'm afraid.

But Datun that performer was showing their incredible strength and balance! Obviously it had nothing at ALL to do with sex. Splitting legs to show genitals that are barely covered is just showing flexibility! Erotic dancers are only showing how flexible they are...

That focuses attention on a thonged penis is most definitely NOT the real intention of the act.

Datun · 02/03/2023 12:38

You can’t just decide to mix pole dancing, alcohol and babies on a whim.

Quite. And while we're about it, it's not just mixing it with babies, it's conditional on bringing a baby.

I can't believe these women are actually buying the idea that this is for them. That adult men in fetish gear have spotted a gap in the market and that new mums so desperately want sexualised, adult entertainment during the day, that they'll even take their babies to it.

honestly. The fucking idiocy never ceases to amaze me.

Helleofabore · 02/03/2023 12:40

"Or men out in a strip club geting boozed up while paying strippers for private dancers with a baby on their lap?"

To take the analogy further, think strippers dancing around with the stray baby crawling between them while the parent with a couple of units of alcohol in their system, claps at the amazing fun time they are having. Even fucking more fun when one of the strippers pick up that stray baby and uses it as a prop for their act.

Great fun! And not sexualised at all. Not highly irresponsible at all.

In fact, very high stilettos and babies crawling free with parents drinking alcohol while sitting on blankets on the floor with their babies crawling free just sounds like a wonderful adventure! Wonderfully entertaining!

that's a great point. If a group of dads decided to organise strippers in a local community centre during the day with alcohol and advertised it as Bring Your Baby, would that be ok? No of course it wouldn't.

Murraydeservedit · 02/03/2023 12:40

You just know what a lot of the clueless idiots sat there watching are thinking, “what the fuck am I doing here?” but they are too scared to leave or say anything incase they are accused of being a bigot.

So they sit there, clapping and looking at everyone else clapping.

God forbid you would say “hang on a seconds, does anyone else think this is really fucking disturbing and inappropriate?”

Why does everyone want to be seen as so fucking cool about everything.

Helleofabore · 02/03/2023 12:41

Did anyone think of those adults who love to be treated like babies being free to attend?

Exactly. I mean, I know there are some incredibly naive women out there. But the fact this group have closed down their online presence shows that there are more women who see it for what it is.

i'm just mildly surprised that people who want to persuade women that it's all terribly innocent, try and do it on this board!

IcakethereforeIam · 02/03/2023 12:42

I though it was one of the things predators did, using pornography to break down barriers. And they seem to be a very collegiate bunch always sharing things, photos, videos, victims. If they don't get to use this child, they've readied them a bit for the next predator.

Also, parent and baby cinema is in seats isn't it? So babies are not on the ground where they can escape to be under a stiletto, or stepped on by a parent who could be under the influence of alcohol, or carrying their own baby and not see one on the floor, or any number of reasons a sleep deprived parent might have of not seeing a baby on the floor.

And has the lights lowered.

What do people think of an advert saying 'Preschool Pole Dancing Prancing!'

Hey dads! Are you missing out on adult company and booze, because you're having to look after a baby?

Pop along with your little tot, to see our half naked, gyrating pole dancers. We have loads of booze and your little one can crawl around to their hearts content, while you watch the show.

I'll never forget reading that. A paedophile saying even if I don't get to abuse the child, at least I've got them already for the next one.

Soubriquet · 02/03/2023 12:50

Why? Just why?

This is not ok for anyone under the age of 18!

SaturdayGiraffe · 02/03/2023 12:52

I'm really shocked that this is being sold via Happity www.happity.co.uk/cabababarave/events/big-penny-social-27-apr-2023.
I've used Happity so many times but will avoid the site in future. Disappointing.

AgathaAllAlong · 02/03/2023 12:55

Thanks for sharing this! So it turns out they simply don't think that babies are registering what's going on around them. Entirely absurd. Especially absurd from mothers who should know better. How are there women out there who are so desperate to watch naked people's sexualised dances that they can't wait until the evening?

There was a lady on here last week complaining that her DP watched porn and wanked in the same room as their baby. Everyone was disgusted. Presumably the owners of this event would be fine with it, even if baby is awake, because they don't know what's going on.

CharmedUndead · 02/03/2023 12:55

I always quite liked singing Wheels on the Bus at the library story time. Cup of tea and a chat with the other parents when the toys came out. Fond memories.

I still went out drinking and dancing with my mates. Just not with the baby.

As a pp noted, how is this cabaret/rave any different to taking the baby to a strip club? We know the strip club is for the adults, and the baby won't understand, so what's the problem? Right?

Mate, we can all see the bloke with his legs open wearing a thong. You trying to pretend
that everyone else is blind, doesn't really work, I'm afraid.

I mean we're used to being asked to turn a blind eye and to pretend that things are not what we see with lots of male behaviour these days.

Beggars belief.

What has happened in the last few years to make these things even possible.

Babies being involved in drag is off the wall inappropriate.

PorcelinaV · 02/03/2023 12:57

With the cinema issue, I think that a local council can allow 15/18 for babies if they wish. As people have mentioned it's not necessarily the same anyway, as such babies may likely be paying no attention to the film.

CharmedUndead · 02/03/2023 12:59

Obviously a dad watching porn online with the baby in the room is less of an issue. Not that I think it's acceptable, but clearly porn on a screen somewhere in the room is less of a attention-grabber for a baby than a live fetish event.

Helleofabore · 02/03/2023 12:59

It all feeds towards the lowering of sexual boundaries.

First lower the sexual boundaries of adults so they cannot recognise what activities are sexualised or not.

Then encourage those adults to bring up their children with no or very low sexual boundaries.

I mean, encouraging your child to 'pat' a male in a dog suit or a furry suit is nothing to an adult who has very low sexual boundaries. Drag queen story time. Cabaret for babies. Rainbow dildo monkeys. Family sex show. The list goes on and on and on.

But apparently, only 'wankers' complain while those adults with lowered sexual boundaries clap and encourage it to keep happening.

It is so blatant by now that it seems surreal that society keeps ignoring it. It is like the sexualised clothing that parents denied were sexualised and 'just a bit of fun'. Whereas now people are saying 'why do we have such an issue with sexualised children'? What the fuck did those parents think would fucking happen!!!!
