'Was intrigued by the JK Rowling inspired pies in the window and had a good chat with Amy who told me the story behind it .'

'Later after she had left with renewed tears and
thanks, after he paid the bill, Strike
walked to Millers of Melrose, a family butcher
he had noticed on his stroll around the town.
There he treated himself to some venison pies
that he suspected would be far tastier than
anything he would be able to purchase at the
station before boarding the sleeper back to
London
This book is shortly to be made into a film.
The official Venison, Ale and Mushroom Pies
are only available at this shop.'

Well whatever Miller is, it appears he abducted and falsely imprisoned a child, kept her away from her family.
I accept we don’t know all the facts but if the above is true what a despicable and vile man he is.
So glad that the girl is home and shout out to all the volunteers who have been out looking for her.
I hope the girl overcomes this ordeal with love and support from her family.
