I should imagine the clip will be doing the rounds on twitter shortly if it's not already, but their Scotland correspondant Ciaran Jenkins did a really good job in a brief interview with her when she was on a tour of a TV studio today. Raised the issue of Katie Dolatowski, and got her quite rattled trying to get her to justify her comments about transphobia and racism. Should be on about 8:15/8:20ish if you want to watch it on C4+1

I kind of hope he does because it further highlights the misogynistic house of cards which Sturgeon and her comrades in the anti-womens rights movement have built. If you can be a TW because you say you are and TWAW then he is a TW and should be in a women's prison. If you don't agree with that, stop pandering to aggressive males who are getting off either literally or metaphorically on women's pain.

it's my understanding that relentlessly misgendering can constitute the crime of harassment or malicious communications.

Interesting that the picture of the National's front page has Willoughby quoted as saying "It was like being at a hanging - mine"

I'm sure that when I saw Willoughby's comments on his experience the expression he used was "lynch mob". Much more emotive.

It's almost like The National knows how vile and inappropriate that remark was.

I’ve always thought that the whole thing would come to a crashing halt overnight if middle-aged women en masse started to declare themselves to be trans. I bet having a trans identity wouldn’t be so cool if your menopausal mum, or your frumpy aunt were also identifying as trans.

I might have this completely wrong - but I think the joke is one of those unsolvable ones where the question itself is the joke? The answer for the chicken is ‘to get to the other side’. A binary state which cannot apply to a nonbinary person.
