Wtf is going on? Another violent man being moved to a women's prison in Scotland. A man so violent they can't even take him to court and NHS staff refuse to treat him.

I don't really see what's so hypocritical - I haven't said the transphobic stuff I say isn't transphobia and the transphobic stuff you say is; that's what hypocrisy is.

I've said I a fully aware that my conclusions some some spaces need to be sex segregated and not freely integrated with self ID transwomen is transphobic, but is what I believe regardless. Exactly how is that "picking and choosing" what is transphobic?

Some people also go further though and also hold more views that are considered transphobic that I definitely wouldn't support - that's my point?

Burns has a string of previous convictions for vandalism, assaults and resisting arrest.

Gareth Roberts, defending, said his client is ‘a troubled young man’ who appears to suffer from psychosis and has difficulty controlling his rages.

Burns was sentenced to 16 months at a young offenders’ institution, less 123 days served on remand.

For the record, I agree with whoever said the individual in question should be in a secure unit; these however are often mixed sex, but I assume you're OK with mentally ill violent men being around mentally ill violent women since I've never heard any complaints about that.

Why do you think this is transphobic? Apart from yourself and the lady who would rather do time with Tiffany than with a woman who thinks biological sex is real, I doubt anyone else thinks this is a transphobic position. So why are you judging yourself (and others) to be transphobic when you’ve probably got a perfectly good reason to think that spaces need to be sex segregated (and it’s not because you hate trans people)? Other women on here also have good reasons for not wanting to use the word “cis” and it’s not because they hate trans people but because they disagree with an particular ideological position.

“These incredibly violent men were walking around the communal shower area naked and sometimes clearly aroused. Myself and other women were in cubicles with only a curtain to protect us.

“I was shaking with fear. In the end I went to the prison clinic and had a coil fitted because I believed I could be raped at any time. I didn’t want one, I felt forced to do it.

“There was around 40 prisoners and two of them were trans. Neither appeared to be women. They dressed as men, they didn’t wear makeup, they were not so far as I know on any hormone drugs, they sounded like men.

“One of them was a domestic abuser who was over six feet tall and extremely threatening looking, the other was serving time for murder.

“It is utterly outrageous, evil even, that we were put in a position of having to live in fear of being sexually attacked every day.

“I simply do not accept that these two prisoners were women, they were dangerous violent men who could at any point have used their strength to overpower one of the women.”

Fucking hell. These women should get compensation, at the very least. What a disgusting thing to do to them.

And when they're released, these men can just walk into toilets and changing rooms used by women and girls.

Yup. They were free men before and the majority will be free men again, having learned that the protective cloak of gender identity will allow them in to any space they fancy.

If they are comfortable behaving as described whilst under supervision in prison, why on earth would they behave better once out?

It's a disgraceful way to treat women isn't it? A whole prisonful of women scared shitless day-in day-out and nobody to listen or stand up for them.

That is a truly harrowing situation that Amanda and other women were placed in. How can any politician believe this is in anyway the right and kind thong to do. It needs to stop.

And, given it's only women who are in this situation, how is it not sex discrimination??

I almost cried. Poor woman. Brave woman. It must be incredibly hard to have to face up to your own wrongdoing and the impact it will have on your children. To then have to shower in front of naked male murderers and abusers. No. Not in any civilised society.

I don't think it's stupidity. You have to be quite clever to tie yourself up in the knots that poster has.

and for that to be the case there have to be people who are bad people. hence the accusations of transphobis against those who understand that men are men are men, and no woman deserves to be incarcerated with one, regardless of what he or she has done
