Wtf is going on? Another violent man being moved to a women's prison in Scotland. A man so violent they can't even take him to court and NHS staff refuse to treat him.

It comes down really to two things that are going to have to be faced:

TQ+ male access to GRCs and female spaces is a conditional, gatekept thing and not all TQ+ male people will be permitted it

or

TQ+ male recognition and access to GRCs is unconditional and available to all males, and because this means the population contains unacceptable risk, does not include access to female spaces. Third spaces can be provided.

This still only looks at the rights of women being nothing more than the right not to be assaulted, raped or worse, but hey, it's a start.

Absolutely, this seems logical and fair.

It irritates me because they are defining which spaces are female single sex based on the current actions of some men instead of basing it on the needs of the women. Grr. Why can't we have our stuff without men trying to define how and when we can?

Quite.

Absolutely everything about this revolves around men.

By people busy swearing those men aren't men and there's no difference between them and females. (Except that on a very much sex based principle those people treat women like shit and bend the entire world around men. Particularly sex offending men for some reason who they are desperate to get in amongst vulnerable, non consenting women.)

There is something seriously wrong between the ears by these people.

As i pointed out on another thread the other day, it's worth bearing in mind when thinking about his criminality, that at a different time, he'd have been a high ranking candidate for Dancing With Pierrepoint! Such is the calibre of men they want to put in with women.
