Article in Unherd by Mary Harrington about 'transmaxxing', a phenomenon in which young men transition because they can, not because they have dysphoria but in some vague hope of having sex with sympathetic women.

It's reminded me of Ollie London, who assumed that just because you can do something (in his case have surgery to make him look Korean) it's okay. No ideological awareness, no ethics, just a why not? kind of attitude.

There should probably be a rule in Canada banning teachers from mounting political protests of any kind in school time. It’s time wasting and distracting.

I read that the Ontario law protects 'gender expression.' Given that the concept doesn't seem to have been defined in any concrete words, this person with the humongous artificial breasts can argue that carrying them around is gender expression.

This is a topic about "transmaxxers" these are teenage boys and young men who do not suffer from gender dysphoria but decide to transition because they feel their life will be better.

Could you define "trans person" and what exactly is shaming by trying to understand why non gender dysphoric young men want to change sex?

A lot of people seem to be struggling with who is and isn't trans now. It seems like they have a fixed stereotype and unable to accept diversity within the trans community.

"Does someone have to have gender dysphoria in order to be trans?"

This would mean medical diagnosis before treatment or GRC is given.

I'm pretty sure complaints have been made on all sorts of grounds. But the school board have remained firm that everyone has the right to 'gender expression'.

No medical diagnosis of dysphoria needed now in Scotland, and you can do this from AGE 16.

So perfectly legitimate to be trans without ever having seen a doctor.
