"If KJK doesn't know the journalist trying to stir up trouble it might provide some clues about the malicious hate crime report".

If Posie doesn't know the journalist, how is it going to provide any clues? You don't half talk some absolute rot sometimes, @SapphosRock

Helleofabore · 25/11/2022 20:37

If KJK doesn't know the journalist trying to stir up trouble it might provide some clues about the malicious hate crime report.

why though? Why is this even plausible? Compared to the many many TRAs who attended the Brighton event.

Why is the focus on that journo? Is there something you are not telling us?

TinselAngel · 25/11/2022 20:37

Why is this important?

Because Sappho does this every thread regarding KJK and Brighton.

And has been doing it in exactly the same manner for some time, despite during that time supposedly crossing the floor from TRA to GC SocFem, with friends in high GC places.

MoirasSaggyBundles · 25/11/2022 20:38

SapphosRock · 25/11/2022 20:29

I thought the thread was about the repercussions of the Brighton event and Posie getting arrested.

If KJK knows the journalist trying to stir up trouble then she can ask her WTF she is playing at.

If KJK doesn't know the journalist trying to stir up trouble it might provide some clues about the malicious hate crime report.

You are the only person connecting KJK with the journalist. Where is your evidence for this?

IwantToRetire · 25/11/2022 20:39

I can understand that for some like shinyredbicycle it seems a bit like nonsensical gossip, but as the thread about the WPUK workshop of FiLia revealed, many of us innocently took part or supported various groups meetings etc.. But only found out later that they were linked, if not the same group. And that they were the ones who started a personal public denounciation of JKJ.

This made some of us ask questions.

But what this thread also shows (which happened on a thread I started but gave up on) is that it just needs one individual to keep posting not quite correct statements and then when challenged slightly amend, which leads to further challenges.

I did think that FWR had a policy of not feeding the trolls, but on the other hand, given the huge reach of mumsnet would you sit by while someone get posting half truths and innuendo about something you cared deeply about, knowing that it would remain in the virtual world and in no time at all would be repeated as the truth.

That is why there are references to a facebook group, which is often the source of this "stories".

This might not every meet the public signifigance of 6 January that led to a whole series (and a second one starting) called the Coming Storm, but that showed how "facts" repeated and shared over and over again on the internet can become some people's truths.

VestofAbsurdity · 25/11/2022 20:42

Are you ever going to own up and apologise for making the journalist friend of KJK comment Sappho?

You now admit you have no idea or evidence of whether they are friends, acquaintances or even know each other, so why use the 'friend' moniker in your first post? It was deliberate wording, there was no need to use it if your intention was merely to point out that a particular journalist was stirring up trouble.

That is why people do not take you or your posts in good faith because they aren't, you have an agenda and you are crap at disguising it.

SapphosRock · 25/11/2022 20:42

The first page of this thread a poster tried to suggest that it was the Brighton feminists who has reported KJK to the police for hate crime. I draw attention to a shady journalist who is clearly trying to stir up trouble and could potentially be behind the hate crime report but is that is a terrible thing to do and totally out of order Confused

TinselAngel · 25/11/2022 20:44

I wonder if continual KJK bashing is an attempt to gain status. It works both with the KJK hating TRAs and with the KJK hating Soc Fems.

But you haven’t given us anything at all to say this journalist’s a friend of KJK’s except that she went to a ticketed party.

You at NO POINT implied you thought the journalist is responsible for the police report, only that she organised the TRA protest at Brighton. You are now making up more shit to fling at KJK.

I don't believe for one minute that was your intention Sappho.

I do agree you have been totally out of order though so there is that.

AlisonDonut · 25/11/2022 20:46

I threw flour around the kitchen, pissed in the sink and then pulled all the pots and pans off the shelves, chucked the plates on the floor and I thought I'd just mention that the kitchen is in a bit of a mess, that's all.

Oh please. You tried to deflect from your half baked truths and distortions, and general malignment of KJK's character, by bringing in yet another stage player, the journalist, whom you again tried to link to KJK, out of sheer malice to infer KJK was responsible for the trouble in Brighton.

That's why you are being called out.

Yarnival · 25/11/2022 20:48

You might want to stop digging yourself in further, Sappho.

KJK has been waiting for her day in court, so fingers crossed she gets it this time 🤞🏼

TinselAngel · 25/11/2022 20:48

Oh now we're accusing the journalist of reporting KJK for "hate crime" when earlier this evening she was supposedly KJK's friend?

Yarnival · 25/11/2022 20:50

Ooh, maybe KJK reported herself to the police Grin

<joke>

Maybe all the TRA protesters in Brighton were actors, paid out of SFW coffers? Hmm

😂😂😂.

I know, I don't think @SapphosRock has really given much though to how ludicrous her tales of malice sound, honestly.

yes, Iwanttoretire.

The issue is actually the degree of misrepresentation that if left unchallenged will continue to grow.

Anyone reading this thread properly will see the links to the 'sin page' and the push back on the mistruths, stripped of context clips of videos and tweets, and the blatant hypocrisy that other 'approved' feminists have said the same things on that 'sin list' and not been monstered or bullied for it.

If other people don't feel the need to push back on misrepresentation when they see it, that is their issue.

However, the more people push back on the publishing of 'sin lists' bullying other women who are working towards the same end goal, maybe those people publishing them will realise they are bullies and actually engage with the women who they are disagreeing with in some kind of positive way.

TinselAngel · 25/11/2022 20:54

None of us know who reported it so I don't see why one side speculating is any worse than the other. Both should probably stop.

SapphosRock · 25/11/2022 20:54

Well it has been a pleasure. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

<also a joke>

Well I wouldn't say the rest of us had found it particularly enjoyable but we all need hobbies.

Helleofabore · 25/11/2022 20:55

And the Facebook page has been named every couple of pages too. So it is not hard to go and find it.
