Some asked about the fund raiser set up by the ad hoc group that organised the Sarah Everard vigil. Reclaim the Streets.

Sisters Uncut were never part of fundraising but were the group who arrived with loud hailers and placards which both Sarah Everard's family and the organisers had specifically requested no one should do, which is why are a day of peaceful and respectful observance violence broke out in the evening.

In incouraging those attending to crown foward towards the bandstand they created a dangerous situation where there could have been people crushed etc..

However it got what they, Sisters Uncut, wanted which was police intervention. And (I think there was a thread about this on here) if you dont comply with a police request to move on you face being arrested. Although it gives you huge opportunities by going floppy, being carried off and ideally getting your photo taken. ie Sisters Uncut are the SWP of feminism.

And it also got what they wanted which was to change the dialogue from being about male violence against women to being a dialogue about police violence.

What was so strange was how the MSM lapped it up. It seems once the MSM have decided what a photo portrays they then make it the "truth". A bit like the picture which showed mothers pushing hamburgers through a school fence for their children. This was written up as being local people objecting to cooked meals being provided at lunch time. But in fact what it was about was the fact that the school was not set up to provide cooked meals, but attempted to do it which resulted in large numbers of pupils not getting any food at all. Everytime I hear this story repeated I get quite angry as the implication is the the problem in uneducated white women foing feral.

Hence the distraction with 'sperm donor' being deployed.

And again, I feel I have to make a clear disclaimer that sperm donation is not harmful to female bodies as such and those children born by sperm donation face other issues that if the family are aware of them and work with their children when needed, it is not like 'egg donation'. ie. sperm donation does not exploit female bodies.

I think she did try. Didn't she write to some local feminists, including Jane Clare Jones, inviting them to the event? I'm pretty sure I remember Jane Clare Jones tweeting something along the lines of 'We didn't want to go..... we felt coerced...' Which is fair enough but, if that's the case, don't complain if you didn't get exactly the kind of coverage you'd have liked.

I have been thinking about the comments on this thread and it has reminded me of a time KJK was helpful to women in Brighton. She gave publicity to this vegan cafe when the owner was being bullied by TRAs and stuck up for her online.

Nothing is black and white, that was a really decent thing for her to do, I was appreciative of KJK's actions back then and still am.

Why do you include Filia in that list? Filia doesn't get involved in any of it and doesn't take sides. There were loads of women wearing SFW merchandise at Filia this year and if anyone had a problem with it I didn't hear a peep about it.
