Hoping everyone is okay.

My mates?
I have no idea who made this film.

Women can speak as can the protestors.

So what coherent and logical arguments did the protestors put forward? Did they listen to the women with respect and then refute their points in a calm and erudite manner? Or does screaming slurs and abuse count as counter arguments for the transactivist side? Is that literally the best they have?

Seems unlikely. It's hardly from a popular YouTube channel.

How about waving their "titties" around whilst making violent threats?

Helleofabore · 15/11/2022 16:05

Oh, look. Another real feminist (self declared) has arrived and has yet again dismissed the violence against women speaking by simply ignoring it.

Hardly the act of a feminist,
but hey ho! It seems that of someone says they are, we have to believe it.

Happylittlechicken · 15/11/2022 16:09

Yes @Helleofabore i was of the impression that antelope claimed to be a feminist, but I may have been wrong. Surely any true feminist would be supporting these women in speaking and decrying the violence and abuse they have been subjected to?

antelopevalley · 15/11/2022 16:14

The violence was wrong. But the police arrested those involved.

What about the shouting of abuse and threats?

That’s good isn’t it. So anyone who condoned the protestors actions would be condoning criminal activity wouldn’t they?

TinselAngel · 15/11/2022 16:21

What about the shouting of abuse and threats?
And the titty waving?
(I appreciate I'm starting to sound obsessed but given exhibitionism is often a co-morbid paraphilia I'm interested to know how this will be defended).

I know arrests were made. I do not know if those people were arrested. Maybe ask KJK?

TinselAngel · 15/11/2022 16:29

I'm not asking whether they were arrested, as you well know. I'm asking if you approve of protesters
A- waving their "titties" about
B- doing so whilst shouting violent threats?

It seems a good opportunity for this really extreme behaviour to be condemned, along with the violence that accompanied it doesn't it antelope?

antelopevalley · 15/11/2022 16:30

You have to ask that? Seriously? Nobody would support that.

TinselAngel · 15/11/2022 16:34

Nobody supports titty waving while making violent threats? The protesters surrounding didn't seem to be trying to stop them. Can you point me towards any TRA condemnation of this antelope otherwise it looks like it was supported?

antelopevalley · 15/11/2022 16:37

No I can not as I am not a TRA, that discussion has nothing to do with me.
Look for it yourself.

You all chase anyone off who does not 100% agree with you.

Musomama1 · 15/11/2022 16:38

And KJK couldn't even attend herself. How on EARTH is mainstream media ignoring this? Like a PP says, I'll relax when she is back in the UK.

What is there to disagree with on this particular point?

TinselAngel · 15/11/2022 16:41

And I have looked but I've not been able to find any.

Helleofabore · 15/11/2022 16:44

antelopevalley · 15/11/2022 16:14

Are you still dismissing extreme intimidation as not being violence against women?

How bizarre.

You seem to lack self awareness antelope. But then we also remember that you have a very personal grudge, seeming to border on hatred, of Kellie Jay and it seems any woman that would be seen with her.

Your ‘oh, yes the violence’, doesn’t cover the fact that it seems acceptable in society to intimidate women to this extent and to victim blame any woman who is scared, or harmed in any way if it is politically expedient.

Helleofabore · 15/11/2022 16:45

I cannot believe that the homophobic abuse and the misogynistic abuse has also been handwaved away.

Imagine that.

Mainstream media do not cover 99% of protests. All activists know that from experience.
It looks a bit scary, but no one was really hurt and there was no criminal damage. And it was a small-scale event and counter-protest.
And is there some coverage from media interested in the wider issue.

KJK could not attend as she had no security to escort her. That is not the polices role.

TinselAngel · 15/11/2022 14:53

Is that an Extreme tribute act?
Don't you dare tarnish my teenage lust for Nino Bettencourt!

Great to see that dismissal out in the open now.

a bit scary
but no one ‘really’ hurt
no criminal damage
small scale
counter protest

Good to know what kind of feminist you are.
