Ofcourse they are rushing it through because they know that it can't survive reasoned debate and scrutiny.
We can only hope that enough MSPs come to their senses and vote it down (yes I know we've no hope)

I just can't fathom how/why she's so determined to rush this through without proper scrutiny - surely surely if she's so convinced then why not have the confidence to answer critics.
And if she's not confident how who's got such a hold over her.

I also don't think I could despise a politician more, especially given current and recent WM government!

To those that think jk rowling is god she’s not her opinion won’t matter at all as the majority of MSPs voted for this by a sizeable amount first round. Really reasoned debate when the majority of msps are in favour of it only seven are not .

how Will making all spaces in Scotland mixed sex benefit women and girls? Surely if NS is such a feminist, she will realise how bad these proposals are for females. There is no part of this reform than benefits women and girls.

I don’t wish to sound rude but if you added some punctuation to your post, it would be more comprehensible and sound less like a stream of consciousness rant.

Sturgeon suffered the largest ever SNP rebellion over the vote. 9 of her own party's MSPs voted against it. For the SNP this is unheard of, so reflects the strength of feeling about the bill. A minister also resigned.

Sturgeon still hasn't answered the question as to what 'living as a woman' entails.

Sturgeon is a failed lawyer who DID NOT take the correct action to protect a woman who engaged her for legal protection.
Sturgeon has form for NOT protecting women and now continues to NOT protect women, girls and children in Scotland.
She is no “ feminist” she is a misogynist, a failure and a disgrace.
Sturgeon and her cronies are a disgrace.

I don’t think it’s judgy at all. If someone has a clear point to make, using punctuation will help with clarity and understanding. Zero punctuation means people stop reading halfway through as they don’t understand what is being said. They lose interest and patience.

It doesn’t have to does it but in the past sturgeon has done lots for women not everything has to benefit one section of society this bill however will help trans people and that doesn’t impact on women that they can get verified on passports etc easier it’s not self id

This isn’t about spaces this is about getting a certificate easy so making trans people getting passports etc in their preferred gender easier

Then one thing that stands out for me is she made period products free for women in schools etc. she did that first .

And now girls on their periods may decline to go to school because they have to share facilities with any boy who claims to be one.

It's quite obvious why this is being rushed through.
