I recall a separate survey that asked if transwomen had not gone through full SRS should they be using women's bathrooms and the answer was a resounding NO.

I would hazard a guess that if every non trans person in the country could be asked what they they think a transsexual man/ transwoman is, an enormous majority would be confused about whether it means a woman living as a man, a man living as a woman, or a man dressing in women’s clothes as a transvestite.

Also, if someone had explained to them first that a transwoman is a man living as a woman, and they were subsequently asked if they thought a transwoman would have had surgery to remove their penis, the majority would think they had.

Woman is a biological reality and not an identity. You can't pretend it's not a biological reality just to access spaces which you are not entitled to access.

No-one is restricting identities. Trans people are welcome to choose from any of the available or conceivable range of identities for themselves. They are not being excluded from anything as they should have the right to use a facilities open to everyone in their sex class.

Your gender is on the 'same side' of your sex. Not saying you need to like it as a term, but it's just supposed to be a descriptor, not an insult.
