1/ Okay this was one of the weirdest internet-culture stories I ever did. I've been chatting with the kid who claims to have stalked Keffals in Belfast and left a threatening note showing he was outsider the apartment she was staying at the time.

2/ He has a looooooooooong and ugly online history of threats, doxing, and other forms of harassment, all linked to the same base username. Looking into his online past led me to corners of the adolescent internet I really wish didn't exist.

3/ The police were apparently involved at one point. It's ugly as hell. I also found out that Keffals has known who this kid was, including his alleged real name and online handle, since September 1st.

4/ She appears to have even tracked him onto one of his Discord servers the next day. This matters a lot given the question of this kid's level of connection to Kiwi Farms, which I looked deeply into and believe I've resolved. Listen to the episode!

5/The episode was delayed because of an incredible moment I had with Teddy yesterday where he tried to get me to report that Keffals was a groomer on the basis of obviously bullshit information he was feeding me -- just a laughably bad misinformation attempt. Etc. etc. I'm tired.

6/ Mainstream journalists seemed thoroughly disinterested in finding the perp responsible behind the single scariest, most stalkerish threat Keffals received, even as they were reporting that she was fleeing from her life! Just remarkably lazy, incompetent journalism.

7/ Our episode adds a lot of specific, previously unknown details about this kid, but his identity is an open secret in multiple internet communities. Any journalist actually looking could have had this almost two weeks ago. Instead, it was considered solved -- Kiwi Farms did it!

why is it a stereotype that British women in their 30s/40s and up aren’t terrorists?

could it be crime statistics?

how many female terrorists have committed acts of terror in Britain in the last, say, 35 years?

how many British terrorists committed crimes against LGB&T people in the last 35 years.?

is there any overlap in the two answers?

I listened to the first half of Blocked and Reported on this- completely fascinating, so looking forward to the second half.

Am I the only one thinking that @ToGanymedeAndTitan's persistent misquoting of women in their 30s and 40s as "middle aged" suggests one not might be too familiar with women at all? I'm not sure any woman I know would classify that age group as middle-aged.

As an aside, what has happened to the now infamous keffals? Is he still on Belfast? Is he still policing the internet and hiding his past?

Talking of Moonatics I’m halfway through the first installment of the Keffals themed Blocked and Reported and it’s notable how much more amenable and sympathetic towards the Farmers Katie is compared to Jesse!

It's rather sweet that the baby-faced Moonboy is white-knighting for Mumsnet but given Justine's political clout he would be better off asking her to legally adopt him.

I understand that he is living in a war zone so he should qualify for refugee status.

Rather than risk paddling a Lilo across the channel, perhaps someone in The Dog House could advise on how we could smuggle him in? I think disguised in a Furry Pooch costume, hidden in a consignment of Kill Shelter rescues, might work.

FWIW I'm not* "mumsy" at all, never was even when the kids were little, but I can definitely cook well.
