The transwomen weren't behaving in a threatening/illegal manner. Police Scotland confirmed they committed no crime.

I think the context around the doxxing of JKR is very important. She had (and probably still does) receive thousands of death threats, threats of rape and other violence. If any threats are made against a cow they are removed from KF very quickly. Farmers tend to stick to insulting the cow not threatening them.
I think being doxxed would be scary if I had thousands of people tweeting death threats to me versus a thread on a website that I would actively have to visit that’s insulting my appearance, intelligence, and personal hygiene. Not nice, but a very different kettle of fish.

Also doxxing is not illegal. In theory, death threats are.

though one of the things i admire about marg is the fact she doesn’t get annoyed at people, obviously I can’t see that…marg may well be smashing furniture and cursing everyone as i type. But still….

and also if you see a gang of lads outside the one stop they aren’t committing a crime, but for some people that could feel a bit threatening. If those lads who are committing no crime hang about outside my house thats gonna feel a bit more threatening….and those lads don’t hate my guts and want me to die in a grease fire
