If you have a Conservative MP and want to protect the rights of women and safeguard children please email them TONIGHT and ask them to support Kemi.

Penny Mordaunt still the bookies favourite (and they aren't often wrong) but we need to let everyone know how dangerous it will be for this woman to become PM; I don't believe she has changed her mind for one moment.

I’m really interested in @jgw1 family now. They should do ‘who do you think you are’ that’s be a fab episode. We’ve got the mum with not totally female genes and apparently the dad is Frankenstein monster with some female bits and some male hits sewn together. I think it explains a lot about @jgw1

What a kind and thoughtful post.

achillestoes · 15/07/2022 08:15

It’s not confusing, @jgw1

Some people are male. Some people are female. Some people, still genetically male or female, develop with characteristics more typical of the other sex.

Nobody needs to go to school to know the difference between a man and a woman.

Please take your obfuscating nonsense back to Reddit.

fairfayrefare · 15/07/2022 08:16

@jgw1

I should probably go back and read all through but that won't change my stance anyway.

Born female = woman

Not born female = not a woman

HipTightOnions · 15/07/2022 08:17

8 billion people on the planet. Each came from 1 female and 1 male parent.

They all know the difference, but somehow jgw1 doesn't.

What a kind and thoughtful post.

I’m known for it. It’s because I’ve got a male ear, but a female nose. Honestly it’s the way forward.

I'll save you a bit of time. Some people have tried to explain what they mean by female, and tied themselves up in knots.

@HipTightOnions not just me it seems, but others on this thread too, who can't explain what they mean by male and female?

Is it possible to know if someone is male or female if they have not had children? If so how?

Conflictedunicorn · 15/07/2022 08:31

Are you on the right thread @jgw1 ? You seem to be reading a completely different thread to the rest of us. Is it because you’ve got one male eye and one female eye, or did you leave your brain in your gold lamé purse again?

achillestoes · 15/07/2022 08:35

No @jgw1

Female is the default developmental pathway. Two XX chromosomes. Some people develop male attributes if their second sex chromosome is Y, and their development diverges. Nobody who develops with XY chromosomes is genetically female.

I am right in thinking that this is the thread about why once has to vote Tory because but Jeremy Corbyn. @Conflictedunicorn ?

I'm utterly confused by this thread now .

You and me both.

Jgw1 what is the issue with testing all embryos and determining male or female

Apart from practicality, what proportion would pose an issue and after further diagnosis still pose an issue that couldn’t be resolved in terms of either male or female?

Im not playing games…reindeer or otherwise 😀

i get tired of threads being derailed…

although, to be honest, if threads didn’t get derailed I probably wouldn’t be able to post at all 🤔

its quite the quandary

MarshaBradyo · 15/07/2022 08:47

No I’m not talking about amniocentesis

You seem to be suffering from the idea we can’t determine male and female accurately

Embryos are a sex do you agree? Or not

How many are not a definite sex?

can you answer in a straight way

MarshaBradyo · 15/07/2022 08:49

It’s an odd obsession by pp.

Maybe to them TWAW but women are not

How are you going to test an embryos DNA if not through amniocentesis?

MarshaBradyo · 15/07/2022 08:51

Forget testing I want to see if you can answer a straight question re embryos

Basic science question

Is the question you want a straight answer to, what is an embryo?

Because that is certainly not a simple question.

achillestoes · 15/07/2022 09:00

Right, so we can move on. You can sex an embryo, which we know.

This thread is about Kemi Badenoch.

MarshaBradyo · 15/07/2022 09:01

No that’s your post mine was earlier

Take an IVF situation and extrapolate it out - no il
not suggesting this but I want to see if you’ll answer re male or female sex

what proportion would pose an issue and after further diagnosis still pose an issue that couldn’t be resolved in terms of either male or female?

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 15/07/2022 09:03

I dont think kemi will make the top two

i think it’s between RS, LT and PM

And like this thread, none of them know what a woman is (or a man) because it is surprisingly difficult to define.

MarshaBradyo · 15/07/2022 09:07

The issue I have is I don’t think Truss is very good with speaking

Admittedly debates are yet to come and I may be surprised but I’m not sure she’s strong enough

PM has the Frost lot after her but may do better in debates not sure

I haven’t listened to Badenoch enough yet to know

Sunak has experience in delivering speeches to house
