Penny Mordaunt still the bookies favourite (and they aren't often wrong) but we need to let everyone know how dangerous it will be for this woman to become PM; I don't believe she has changed her mind for one moment.

Some people are male. Some people are female. Some people, still genetically male or female, develop with characteristics more typical of the other sex.

Not born female = not a woman

8 billion people on the planet. Each came from 1 female and 1 male parent.

They all know the difference, but somehow jgw1 doesn't.

I’m known for it. It’s because I’ve got a male ear, but a female nose. Honestly it’s the way forward.

Female is the default developmental pathway. Two XX chromosomes. Some people develop male attributes if their second sex chromosome is Y, and their development diverges. Nobody who develops with XY chromosomes is genetically female.

Jgw1 what is the issue with testing all embryos and determining male or female

Apart from practicality, what proportion would pose an issue and after further diagnosis still pose an issue that couldn’t be resolved in terms of either male or female?
